I had a dream last night I was attending Kobe hahahahahahahaha.... and on the program sheet, I saw that Yuzuru is skating to something from a horror VG. I vaguely remember parts of Spirit Guide playing several times in the background and Yuzuru skating to it in a white kimono. ...I think I've been playing too many games lately

Hm... I just watched his SP not the clean one, the 2Lo version, because that one was deleted before I could get hold of it And it feels unfinished. Like timing on the 3A and 4T-3T is lovely, especially the 4T-3T . But the StSq while lovely isn't up to par in quality with what I personally associate with a Yuzuru step sequence and the spins aren't quite there yet as far as timing goes. But this is just May, Yuzuru has plenty of time to work on it, not to mention the rink here is tiny compared to a standard competition rink. All that aside, I'm excited now. It's very different in terms of "feel" compared to his previous two Ballade no.1s. This one is much more intimidating I think, colder, but in a good way. It already left a strong impression in me, so I imagine it will be mind blowing after a couple of months' work.

I think Yuzuru is using Zimmerman's, that's what it sounds like to me anyway, of course anyone is welcomed to correct me if otherwise. As far as personal favourites of Ballade no.1 tho Michelangelli is one of them. Another one that I recently love is Aimi Kobayashi. Not technically the best and there are plenty cleaner Ballade no.1s out there, but she has a fresh interpretation of the piece and her passion is clear and lovely You mentioning Cziffra caught my attention because I loved his interpretation of Transcendental Etude No.10. I tried looking for a performance of his to Ballade no.1, and I've found all the other three Ballades, but not Ballade no.1

Wait, is it really? Gosh, I need to reread my rules then But no I don't think he'll come back to 4S-3T. If he's keeping the same jumps I think he'll at least mix it up and go for a solo 4S then 4Lo-3T

4Lz 3A// 4T-3T seems unlikely to me if only because his 3A has reached the point of stability where there is no way he wouldn't put it in the second half to milk the bonus. That aside, I personally think if he's going to be adding the 4Lz, 4Lo-3T has to come out somewhere. He wanted to stabilise that 4Lo for a reason and it did get ridiculously consistent second half of the season(hush hush about WTT SP). So, if anything goes, can I slide in the possibility of a 4S-4T or 4T-4T combo onto this hahahaha... Like those ridiculous attempts at GPF Gala show that he has the speed coming out of his 4S and 4T for something more than a triple... I'm so sorry

That's true haha, but it's also a lot of the posters there that get on my bad side. Dunno everything just feels aggressive outside of some Fan Fests. But everything here seems friendlier which is why I came out of lurking (I was going to bring in the glitter in here myself with my endless supply of memes, but thankfully that wasn't necessary)

Well Yuzuru is my personal favourite male skater atm and I do have some personal sentiments with him since Yuzuru is the only skater I have watched grow up so closely. But understandably there are people who don't have Yuzuru as their permanent favourite and are here to talk about him away from GS(that's a can of worms we don't need to open) Like I have other skaters I personally love as well so I still lurk over there but I have 0 plans of coming out of lurking on GS haha
