    Hm that's also true. She hasn't been very present in the sport this season... but I also don't really know how present she's been in Japanese media? I don't really follow her. Did she fall off a bit?

    Hm well she's already got considerable fame at this point (and had some success as a junior) so I don't see an incentive for her to be successful for the sake of fame, anymore. If she really decided this coach change by herself I would say she's genuinely interested improving herself as a skater

    Well you can see that they’re taking off from the toe pick in the end whereas Yuzu takes off from the full edge Yeah in any case, if we had as much prerotation as they have here we wouldn’t rotate in the air at all in a waltz jump lol eta: I’m probably not seeing right tho

    But isn’t that weight transfer to the ball of his foot bc he takes off from his edge unlike most people? I wonder if it makes sense to use him as an example for waltz jumps
