The beauty of having our own forum!! and I agree with you on this! the arm movement had much more impact on day 3. I'm not sure if I'm making sense here... Since a combo is kind of a decrescendo (with the first jump being a quad, the last one being a less impressive triple) the landing of a 3T doesn't completely justify falling on the last chord of a crescendo? The arm movement fills it much better imo

I was only referring to the combo! The entire program is definitely not complete, yet, but there's still lots of time to do the fine-tuning. Hmm it's funny you say that bc in the broadcasted version I found the timing of the combo to be a little off and perfect in the clean version. But you might be right that he is getting confused (but he also has time to perfect that)

My data isn't fast enough to rewatch both versions rn but iirc in the broadcast version he jumped a tact later so that the landing note of the 3T was the same as the note he did the arm movement on in the clean version so I assumed he thought of that detail later? I will check it later, again, tho. I'm not completely sure. And me too, I love that detail so much!

Since I am marrying a the back counter+3A+high kick+side lunge I need a purple dress! I'm in love with Elie Saab so maybe this one. Just add a ton of rhinestones to it and it's perfect. I'm also considering this one. It's already super sparkly and would fit the occasion better

Oh yeah I don't think his layout is finalized either. I'm no expert with levels but the StSq didn't look complete to me and the program seems rough around the edges, still. I could already see improvements between the second and third day. And of course Yuzu wouldn't be Yuzu if he left the layout as it is after having skated it clean already, no matter how safe he wants to play it. Well, I can see where all the disappointment is coming from. I couldn't help but feel the same, just bc I was expecting him to come up with something new and original, judging by his trend of the last two seasons and also based on my belief that while, yes, Yuzu wants to win OGM he will not let himself get swayed by the Olympics and will try doing so within his own conditions. So my initial disappointment never stemmed from feeling like Yuzu owed me anything. But as others have already said, this might be his way of staying true to his ideals, anyway- raising technical difficulty without having to sacrifice on presentation. And I don't see a reason to believe he is watering down for the Olympics, yet, so, at least for myself, I can't justify disappointment.
