  1. Mang is a squirrel. And his mask was where his tail was supposed to be hidden - but the unmasked Mang doesn't seem to have a tail. Hmmm. I don't think JImin will go on tour with Yoongi - Maybe appear in Seoul once. Yoongi's tour is a solo tour. I'm sure he'd love for Jimin to show up for a show in Seoul but JImin is, while riding the too short high of his album and promotion, done, and I think he knows that. How and when would RM release anything that wouldn't come into conflict with JK's release ((of what we do not know), unless he releases it relatively soon. The way they seem to be spacing the solo promotions, the next thing will be in next month. They'll give Yoongi's album 3 weeks after release - especially because he'll already be touring. I'd love another Live update from him. I love that he is pursuing this new inspiration, but I think he almost feels guilty. I, for some reason, think JK must be nearly recorded - at least written and composed - what he will release. He has so much range, but he could just as easily do a Jin, and release one special song for ARMY. Tae, who seems to throw away anything he doesn't immediately love, who could release an entire album of blues covers, may go the Jin route, too. Wait and see, wait and see. Tae hasn;t even done a Live since his roughly 5 minute Yeontan from almost a month ago. What is that man up to?
  2. Oh, this is sweet - and yet another destination for a non-rainy day in Seoul.
  3. If you go for the Apple music offer, remember that if you have purchased anything on iTunes and it's still there in your iTunes account, nothing played on Apple counts towards streams. You have to delete what you;ve purchased first. And where is Mang's tail that he was hiding under his mask? (I will be looking for the "new" Mang as soon as I can get to a Line Friends store in Seoul (but a small one - the big guys cost TOO much.
  4. I think Yoongi will get a lot of sales - especially of the $0.69 single. He'll never get the air time that Like Crazy has gotten though and I imagine he knows that. I was really surprised that Hobi's single didn't sell more (and get more YouTube views). Jimin will have had three weeks. That seems to be the time they are giving any of the singles lately. Jimin's time in the spotlight was bound to be shortened because of Yoongi's tour schedule (requiring the single to come out first) just as Hobi's was by Jimin's schedule. I now think that Jimin will be the next to announce going into the military. (Oh, Listened to the subbed RM Live - a lot of it in English anyway - he seemed impatient with stupid ARMY comments and I think he was frustrated and tired. Someone may have asked and therefore prompted him to say he was planning on going in at the same time as Hobi. I feel he may not even release this song he's working on unless he really really loves it.)
  5. I think that one of the reasons Jimin was able to get top #1 on Billboard is the multiple versions and some really good playlists that take advantage of that. Also, me. I did it. If everyone had as much Jimin playing on all platforms as I do, and we do this for other members, we can do it. Yoongi is unlikely to have an English version of anything, but you never know. Hobi's On The Street - which I love - has "language" that would keep it off charts (made the rap-hip hop charts though). If Yoongi has his side A single solely in Korean, it just won't get as much play. The world is 1/2 way to accepting all Korean lyrics as okay. Unfortunate, but true. Soobin has a good sense of humor....
  6. Because we all have extra cash after buying multiple copies of Face -
  7. And Like Crazy is expletive-free so can be played on any station. It's doing great in the UK, too.
  8. I don't have a clue. I wonder if he'll read some of those comments out loud. What I've read on Twitter by my favorite translator, he was maybe a little defensive, saying everything he does, everything they do, they do for us, ARMY. That BTS is ARMY and ARMY is BTS. Maybe someone said something about how we only see one of them at a time on Live - and it seems that's how it's going to stay (unless someone shows up at JK's while he's on...). I would think there is a lot of disappointment that we are not getting anything that could be considered "group" lives, even with 2 or 3 of them. It seems it was discussed way back when and this is what they decided to do. So, that's why we wouldn't have gotten a live when Jin was in town. Speaking of - I presume Hobi shows up on Monday at his base so I'll mark 5 weeks from then as that's the first time we'll hear from him. And then see 100 days (which is July 12th, so that's when he'd get four days off - ). I wonder who will still be in Seoul in mid-July. This really is like ripping a bandaid off slowly.
  9. Not the news I wanted this morning.
  10. I think his appearance on the SBS variety show has increased his visibility and he's finally getting some attention.
  11. It took some time to find this - Jun's exhibition gala skate at Nationals....
  12. Best Ina Bauer out there - I wish he could get some better in-person coaching, though. He still telegraphs his jumps.
  13. Any Jun fans know if there is an animal (like a plushie animal) that he likes? I'm torn between a penguin and a tiger....
  14. I'm pretty sure it was in Anaheim... but not positive.
  15. The "old" age system has been how age is calculated in Korea. It is being changed. Jun was born on Oct 21 2001. Using the system they have employed seemingly forever, he was one when he was born. And then he gets another year when the new year happens, so he was two (in Korean years) on January 1, 2002. A year is added on on New Years - So he is, with our way of calculating age, 20 and about to be 21 in October. Korea puts him at 22 now. It is confusing. Worse - being born on Dec 30. You are 1 for two days and then 2 years old when you are biologically 2 days old. And we've gotten zero info - except I know he was in California and working with Shea-Lynn this spring. I don't know if it was his long or short (or both) but it's something new. Maybe now that ice shows are over, he'll be back to training all the time and we will hear more (and I am still hopeful he'll be back at TCC).
  16. I don't know when this was recorded. It's so hard to tell. And no mention of training or coaching. I read in an older tweet that the (former) head of education in Korea had deemed Uni students not allowed to be overseas during the academic year. That would preclude him from training in Canada. But- former head of education. I don't know how they expect him to compete internationally without actual coaching. And he is using the old age system - he turns 21 this year, not 22....
  17. And note to all: When commenting on the ISU on Twitter, do not use the words "die" or "kill". You'll get locked out of your account for "inappropriate" language, though I hardly think that saying that the ISU is killing figure skating and that the sport as we have loved it will die. Is this a threat to someone that I wrote the truth? I think it was in response to them tweeting congratulations to Yuzu on his retirement. I was not the only one with a choice response. But locked out for two days. Don't care.
  18. What are those glasses Jun has on? They look like protective glasses, not regular glasses.
  19. He looks so much younger in this...
  20. Two tweets - one of his SOI skate and a thread of excellent and drool-worthy new pics of Jun -
  21. The translation from an interview of the Arena - and then, a couple of sweet pics -
