Maybe he delayed flying to LA because the members were getting together. We know where he is right now and I can't imagine flying the 10-12 hours each way for a day is what happened. Maybe he sent message during the Live - I'll have to rewatch it. I know Jimin did.

Seriously, did he really think that merely cutting his bangs would keep him from being recognized? A long sleeve shirt might have helped. But no- I'd have spotted him as soon as he was anywhere in my line of sight. Son Sung-deuk is also there, but I have no idea if he and JK are together. He's another one I'd recognize easily. I hope he can enjoy some of the performances but unless they have a section roped off like they did at Lollapalooza, I don't think he'll be able to. And it makes me a little sad that he's in the states and not here to hug Hobi good-bye. Maybe it's easier to be far away. It's not so "real" that Hobi will be gone tomorrow morning. There were big banners of him (J-Hope) attached to light posts all along the street that borders Seoul Forest Park. I wonder if that's just because he's leaving or because he's leaving and local ARMY expect that's something he'll drive by on his way out of town. I hope that's it. I feel his going. The military better treat him kindly. Will he sleep well tonight or have a drink with the other members and then be with family (and if he's with his parents, he will have already left Seoul. I bet saying goodbye to Mickey was the hardest.

His live was when I could have watched it here in Seoul - but noooooo - so jet lagged I was asleep an hour before he went live. Woke up a few hours later, read Silvias message, cried a little and went back to sleep. I really hope the military doesn;t suck the sunshine out of him.

I love that someone commented on Twitter that they like like two siblings being forced to have a picture taken together, So.stiff. Also - I am flying to SF tomorrow afternoon and then to Seoul Wednesday morning so I may be scatterbrained and intermittently present the next few days....

Good for a chuckle - CK was smart to give him purple undies. And I bet there is some kind of CK promotion thing in the states. And (boo) doubt he'll perform. He won't step on Jimin of Yoongi's toes. If he had something new? Wouldn't we have heard about it?

I'm fine with Hobi's hair - better than a buzzcut to me, and a lot less jarring for him when he looks in the mirror. I missed the LIve and will watch now but think it's really lovely that JK does his own laundry. A lot of super wealthy people don't. But it's like he wouldn't think of having someone else do it. He likes it., (And I am actually very happy be didn't do the tighty -whitey (ot tighty-purple) with his fingers under the elastic. He just doesn't need to. HIs shyness is an attribute. Gonna miss Hobi SO much...

Yeah, they do kind of ruin it for other guys

It's HOT along that coast in Mexico now, if that's where anyone was thinking of being. And the first season was done shooting in February. And no word on whether it would be picked up for another season (at least on Amazon). Tae must be working on something, but he's not giving any clues. A change in Weverse shipping . Not sure if it's good news, but I think it is.

I think that our guys are centered and understand the "love myself" concept well enough to maintain a sense of their own value, internally, and that will help them get through the military. The biggest self image issue (and we know Jin really misses the members and ARMY and performing - as will Hobi and all of them) is the initial haircut. Jin was at least able to get support from the other six. I can't help but think of Hobi looking at himself in the mirror that first time with his head nearly shaved. Or JImin. Hobi has never quite accepted that he's actually attractive and I imagine that feeling will shadow those first glances at a mirror. And Jimin will see his "chubby" cheeks. ((Tae will see his ears and wonder if he ever really was handsome....). And much as I have missed new RunBTSs and a Bon Voyage and especially OT7 performances, this past year has probably benefitted them individually as they go through that horrific transition

Mang is a squirrel. And his mask was where his tail was supposed to be hidden - but the unmasked Mang doesn't seem to have a tail. Hmmm. I don't think JImin will go on tour with Yoongi - Maybe appear in Seoul once. Yoongi's tour is a solo tour. I'm sure he'd love for Jimin to show up for a show in Seoul but JImin is, while riding the too short high of his album and promotion, done, and I think he knows that. How and when would RM release anything that wouldn't come into conflict with JK's release ((of what we do not know), unless he releases it relatively soon. The way they seem to be spacing the solo promotions, the next thing will be in next month. They'll give Yoongi's album 3 weeks after release - especially because he'll already be touring. I'd love another Live update from him. I love that he is pursuing this new inspiration, but I think he almost feels guilty. I, for some reason, think JK must be nearly recorded - at least written and composed - what he will release. He has so much range, but he could just as easily do a Jin, and release one special song for ARMY. Tae, who seems to throw away anything he doesn't immediately love, who could release an entire album of blues covers, may go the Jin route, too. Wait and see, wait and see. Tae hasn;t even done a Live since his roughly 5 minute Yeontan from almost a month ago. What is that man up to?

Oh, this is sweet - and yet another destination for a non-rainy day in Seoul.

You have to delete what you;ve purchased first. And where is Mang's tail that he was hiding under his mask? I think Yoongi will get a lot of sales - especially of the $0.69 single. He'll never get the air time that Like Crazy has gotten though and I imagine he knows that. I was really surprised that Hobi's single didn't sell more (and get more YouTube views). Jimin will have had three weeks. That seems to be the time they are giving any of the singles lately. Jimin's time in the spotlight was bound to be shortened because of Yoongi's tour schedule (requiring the single to come out first) just as Hobi's was by Jimin's schedule. I now think that Jimin will be the next to announce going into the military. (Oh, Listened to the subbed RM Live - a lot of it in English anyway - he seemed impatient with stupid ARMY comments and I think he was frustrated and tired. Someone may have asked and therefore prompted him to say he was planning on going in at the same time as Hobi. I feel he may not even release this song he's working on unless he really really loves it.)

I think that one of the reasons Jimin was able to get top #1 on Billboard is the multiple versions and some really good playlists that take advantage of that. Also, me. I did it. If everyone had as much Jimin playing on all platforms as I do, and we do this for other members, we can do it. Yoongi is unlikely to have an English version of anything, but you never know. Hobi's On The Street - which I love - has "language" that would keep it off charts (made the rap-hip hop charts though). If Yoongi has his side A single solely in Korean, it just won't get as much play. The world is 1/2 way to accepting all Korean lyrics as okay. Unfortunate, but true. Soobin has a good sense of humor....

I don't have a clue. I wonder if he'll read some of those comments out loud. What I've read on Twitter by my favorite translator, he was maybe a little defensive, saying everything he does, everything they do, they do for us, ARMY. That BTS is ARMY and ARMY is BTS. Maybe someone said something about how we only see one of them at a time on Live - and it seems that's how it's going to stay (unless someone shows up at JK's while he's on...). I would think there is a lot of disappointment that we are not getting anything that could be considered "group" lives, even with 2 or 3 of them. It seems it was discussed way back when and this is what they decided to do. So, that's why we wouldn't have gotten a live when Jin was in town. Speaking of - I presume Hobi shows up on Monday at his base so I'll mark 5 weeks from then as that's the first time we'll hear from him. And then see 100 days (which is July 12th, so that's when he'd get four days off - ). I wonder who will still be in Seoul in mid-July. This really is like ripping a bandaid off slowly.
