  1. And now I am face with that recurring dilemma of what version to get. I definitely want to support Hobi in this. At least ITunes is only one. But of course, I will get a physical copy, too. I am okay with the dribble of new stuff to buy and it's good to have it. It does annoy, me, however, that Weverse has ads for merch on all the media - even teasers. I understand commercial behavior but, for me, the BTS page should be free of all this. That's just me.
  2. He can be their manager, for sure. There was a notice from someone right near midnight, the 17th18th in Korea, from someone and I went ahead and sen him my birthday fan letter right then - bleary eyed. Clearly, he had a couple of days off - so far, I think, Jin is the one most likely to post a comment about anything from his phone, even while serving. The otthers seem to wait until they have a day off - except, I guess, RM, who also wished Hobi a happy birthday, though maybe he was off, too. I so hope tthe members see each other when they are off. Part of the birthday stuff from ARMY was a cup/coffee promotion that Hobi shows the cup from on his Insta-real. I did a quick screenshot - that didn't work https://www.instagram.com/stories/uarmyhope/3305469463497243645/ I can't get the twitter to work, still, but this is what it was about. I just cut and pasted. Sun, Feb 18 at 11:04 AM BTS Translations / Bangtansubs ⁦‪@BTS_Trans‬⁩ 240218 ⁦‪@BTS_twt‬⁩ J-Hope’s Instagram Story #SoTouched Cup: To the officers of the Korean army guarding the Korean peninsula, we are grateful for all the work you do. 3. 6 new songs or dance to songs already out there will be the question.... and I wonder if the documentary will be something we have to purchase or available on Weverse. It would be a nice gift to ARMY for it to be free on Weverse. Jin left us monthly messages and I think is was Hobi who lamented that he hadn't prepared anything like Jin had. March 3 is only two weeks away- and a week before Yoongi's birthday. Hoping for multiple gifts to us in March. I'll hold off on revamping my playlists for at least a couple of weeks. And having watched the Jack in the Box documentary on Disney, it does seem to me that dance to the start and the end-all of what he truly loves.
  4. And I was just about to re-work my YouTube and Spotify lists. - I wonder what this will be and if it will contain anything we haven't seen before. My twitter is not recognizing me on my computer so I can't actually pull up or repost anything from the, but go to @uarmyvibe as that person posted a neuron crew tribute to Hobi for his birthday
  5. For unknown reasons, Twitter won't let me click on tweets on my computer so I don't know if these photos are part of the above - but, if like me, you can always screenshot favorites and make prints. I'd say 11X14 is about as big as you can get without losing resolution. But that's a nice size for sticking up on the wall. https://www.threads.net/@bighit_entbt/post/C3aZ9x3tqWs/ https://www.threads.net/@bighit_entbt/post/C3aZ9x3tqWs/https://www.threads.net/@bighit_entbt/post/C3aZ9x3tqWs/
  6. The 15th division does not have a military band. It's just infantry. Each base does not have a band. Note - we have never seen anything like a band or anyone in one of those uniforms in any of the Hobi pics from assorted group graduations. And none from Jin's base, either.
  7. Maybe so, but I do know that for any military band for any branch of the the US armed services, there is a highly competitive audition process. This is because, if you are in a military band, you will not be going into any war zone or be called to serve in a fighting unit. This was the reason my mother wanted all four of my brothers to be proficient playing their brass instruments. And while this may or may not be true, it was reported that he is in the 15th division and that is an infantry division with no mention of a band. And the info I've dredged up says “All musicians are all volunteering civilians“ - and need to be 27 or under. I would love to think of him NOT anywhere near fighting, but I'll withhold believing this until I see additional “leaked“ photos showing him in uniform with a sax.
  8. I think this has to be photoshopped. Why would he be in a military band playing a saxophone? He may be able to play one but the only people in military bands are actually really good at the instrument they are playing ( so if we saw Tae playing sax, I'd give it more credibility.) Also - he is not at a training base so he wouldn't be at a graduation ceremony. Also - there would be some other report about this, if it were true. Did we see any evidence of bands playing at any other grad ceremonies we've seen ? If he was actually doing military band duty, he wouldn;t be at a base in the NW of the country. Thoughts ?
  9. I'm seriously doubting that anyone goes through their 18 months putting on lots of weight, except for muscle, and the guys were pretty muscular to begin with. No one is coming out as the Hulk. I wonder why RM things he'll put that much weight on. Had to be joking.
  10. I dont know what he was going in - but he was WAY too skinny after dieting for his photo shoots. Funny, Jimin doesn't ever shoot for weight gain. But any weight they gain while in the military will be muscle. It's good to be strong, but I should think that being lean lends it self to being able to dance more fluidly and fleibility.
  11. I am, again, taken with just how extraordinary his transformation from big-eared goofy kid to this beauty has been. I think his biceps tendon looks off in the middle sett of pictures, but it's good to not be too perfect.
  12. This is from yesterday - time does pass. https://www.threads.net/@viennesearmy77/post/C3NpDDjtAmI/
  13. Has anyone else noticed how the views for both versions of Take Two on YouTube have 37M views and haven't changed in weeks. Do they add the views together? I don't think so, so it's perplexing to me that in 8 months ( ? ), the last song and MV released would be stagnant. I don't know - its bugs me and makes me wonder if that's just showing on my YouTube feed. Jimin's Closer than This has 16M in a month....
  14. Maybe - there's a lot of flowing going on for most of them. And he must have been working on Face already. It was released 6 months later. It's weird to think of what their thought processes were in Sept '22. A month before Busan and less than two months before Jin was gone. They had been aware that they wouldn't be touring for at least a couple of years, something they already had experience with. The BTS documentary on Disney shows that, and how they wondered, as they prepared for SoFI, if they would ever be able to tour again; would they ever be able to really see ARMY again. I think that, until they saw their reception and felt the energy, and knowing they would all have to do military service, if they thought that being unable to perform live for years would mean ARMY would go away.
  15. I wonder, since he clearly had at least a couple of days off, if he was able to see Yoongi - and was Jimin home, too? I remember when we heard that Jin was in almost constant contact with all the members. Are they staying in touch? And there were one or two photos of most of the members with Jin outside a restaurant when he was on break. I hope they can synchronize breaks. And will Usher feature JK in any way during his halftime show today at the Super Bowl? https://www.hindustantimes.com/entertainment/music/usher-reveals-why-he-wanted-to-feature-on-bts-star-jungkooks-standing-next-to-you-101707570677366.html
  16. I think that TS probably brings in more money - and I definitely hope the reason their first tour is monumental is NOT because the tickets cost a fortune. I'd love to see them do something similar to what Taylor has done to cut out TM from getting any thing from her shows. And yes to missing Yoongi. He's never been the most extroverted of the 7. JK has been - but we haven't heard directly from him. It is only from Jimin that we get JK updates. I wonder if he -Jimin- feels like he needs to update ARMY on JK because he knows JK isn't. I'd love to see a message from Jin that includes info on both Jimin and JK. RM hasn't messaged and Hobi hasn't either - someone, not RM, is putting stuff on Instagram, but that's not new anything. We hear, anecdotally, that Tae is doing well, but not how RM and JK are adjusting - except Jimin's messages. It makes me think that JK is having more trouble adjusting - but that's pure speculation. He has Jimin and Jin with him and that has to help. Happy Lunar New Year -
  17. An official photo or one approved, or allowed, by BigHit is okay with me. Any new visual of how they are doing makes me feel like we are able to keep in touch, just a teeny tiny bit. Sneak pics or clearly non-official shots are intrusive and I totally don't like that they exist. And they aren't regular citizens - they are military. Because they are BTS is the only reason we don't get to see additional photos. BigHit has prohibited the regular army website for all military members from having our members on it.
  18. I thought the same thong about the military injury. He was probably tender, anyway. Solos - NO - OT7 only. I think they will return to the concert and album protocols from before the pandemic. There were always solo, or featured member, songs - and performances during concerts. Having one member, or two or three, between big numbers allows a bit of rest for the other members. They stated that for the PTD tour, they were choosing to only perform songs where all seven were included because they knew ARMY wanted to see all seven - and, I suspect, they knew that it would be the last set of concerts before the military started peeling off members, and they wanted to show ARMY as much of their group stuff as possible. I bet that when they do their next album and get to do more concerts together, they will revert to their former format, featuring each member. I think they will want to be able to revert to concert playlists that allow for rests and breaks, and also give each member the chance to shine on their own, especially now that they have all succeeded as solo artists. Each will want to include their own stuff - maybe new, maybe what has been released in the last year and a half- but they will be BTS and so most will be as it had been. It seems to me that Usher is the main focus and most pampered of the two in this little video. I get he's been around longer and is a big star, but it kind of surprised me that JK seem to be treated as the second-billing costar, even though it's his song.
  19. Does anyone know what this is about? What credit are they referring to? JK didn't write any of the stuff on Golden. He chose what he wanted to do from a bunch of stuff presented to him. So I don't understand. https://www.sportskeeda.com/pop-culture/news-fix-it-permanently-trends-fans-allege-hybe-removing-credits-bts-jungkook-s-standing-next-you-mv-videos-youtube
  20. Maybe I do? The comments go by so fast, I don't know how they read any of them. I do remember Hobi answering a couple, I guess, but they are all so vocal about how they wish they knew English (except Namjoon). Jimin did say when he was on Fallon last year that he doesn't understand or speak English, except, obviously, some practiced phrases.
  21. It hasn't been - and I think this is the only recordning of him singing it in English I've seen (or heard). I continue to have issues with the tech people at Weverse. Whoever works on the webpage doesn't seem to bother with having functions consistent across platforms - is this so hard? An advanced tech country like Korea should not have these issues and it's driving me nuts. I wrote a couple of Fan Letters in December to the group and also to Jin for his birthday. I did it on my computer so I could have translations into Korean. Now they say that it isn't available. This is their response. Rrrrrrrr. I have one letter saved for Jimin and I want to send Hobi birthday greetings that he won't need a translator around to read (on the supposition they actually get these letters...) And what is Weverse App 1:1?
  22. There is something about this that I don't like. Maybe it would be illuminating as it is Hybe - but has to be fictionalized. We have already been invited in to see so much of their interaction with each other and, while we also know that some of that was sort of manufactured, it was them. It will probably do really well, but....
