Sombreuil
@Louitunes I’m going - thankfully the rail strike is over so I should be there for Friday mens practice.

Don't go there with the rail strike. I had to swap my return leg to London from Paris to the next day ... then they cancelled the strike. I'm in Block 7 Row D Seat 19 if you want to come say hello or maybe catch a coffee in the break. I'm already up in Sheffield and staying with my sister. Have a safe journey over. 😊
Sombreuil
I know - it’s been hell. That would be nice - I’m meeting a friend on Friday and my husband is joining me on Saturday- neither are skating fans and will probably get there in time for the actual competition rather than practices but I want to see as much skating as I can. I will look out for you - I’m block 10, row B, seat 14.

Louitunes
Not a blow by blow description below. Missed lots as busy chatting at the very front of the rink (no glass). Flipping shivered all the way through practices though. Two sets of school children in attendance waving Union Jack's and clapping and chanting. Nice how lots of the skaters went to them to bow. Men: Good practice in the main for the Japanese boys especially Shun and a very happy Koshiro. Dennis had jump issues and kept popping but after a short contemplation at the rink side manged to finally get his jump OK. His spins were really amazing ... so centered. Tomoki really lovely timing in one of his spins during his music time. Chef's kiss. Some pops in general skate. Morisi hit and miss. Some pops/spin outs. Graham. Developing nicely and gaining good experience. Was happy to pose for picture with me. Very down to earth pleasant bloke. Wished him good luck. Ladies: Anastasia Gubanova. Really like her. Lovey posture and great practice. Mai. Fab practice and the flow out of her jumps is wonderful. Young. Not great for her sadly. Pop and a few falls. Ekaterina. Missed lots of her set when her music played but what she did was very good. Julia. Rather nice and quite impressed me. Alexia. Not at practice. No reason given so hopefully she's OK. Isabeau. Cheered on massively by the crowd sat behind us. Bradie. Beautiful gloved dress in turquoise, purple and yellow. Softer look and not as severe as her usual style. Didn't recognise her at first. Fell in general practice though. Pairs: The favourites. Knierim/Frazier. Extremely confident practice both in their music and gen practice. Well on form. Metelkina/Parkman. Beautiful horizontal hold at start and finish of programme. Nice set. She fell. Roscher/Schuster. He has a really lovely leg up entry into her death spiral. Fall on individual side by side jumps. Vaipan-Law/Digby. Waved my British flag like crazy. Lots of local support for them. Good experience gained. Dance: Fear and Gibson. Happy to wave at us looked relaxed and confident. Good set. Boy does he spin her around. Lajoie/Lagha. Nice energy from them. Beautiful heavily gold encrusted brown dress. Looked stunning in person. No queues for the toilets and good food in the cafe. All staff extremely friendly. Good start Sheffield.

Louitunes
Missing this morning's practice as I got home last night so tired and cold. I just hit the bed and crashed. Will be there for competition.
