August 23, 20224 yr This is the thread for World Championships 2023 (20-26 March 2023, Saitama/JPN) Info: https://isu.org/events/eventdetail/12898/33/isu-world-figure-skating-championships?templateParam=11
February 24, 20233 yr will the World Championships 2023 be posted here? or does anyone know where do watch/download it (not live)? preferably the japanese TV-broadcast? I´m not sure if there will be a "relive" in my country available beside the live broadcast, but I can´t stay awake the whole night or stay at home from work during that time.

ISU competitions are usually streamed by ISU on their YT channel and you can also watch them there afterwards. They also cut the material and publish each program separately, so you can choose which skater you want to watch. So, if you don't have any problem that it's ISU, this is probably the easiest way.

That´s why I was looking for alternatives.

That´s why I was looking for alternatives. I'm afraid it's still too early to find any detailed and reliable information about the official broadcast for this event. If you are looking for Japanese transmission, Fuji TV is a "special supporter" of the competition, so I can't imagine they don't have any live and delayed broadcast. It also looks like J Sports will offer a delayed broadcast, but again, I don't see any details in their schedule yet, other than the official training for the men and women Program Guide | J SPORTS [Official]. I also found some kind of summary here: 世界フィギュアスケート選手権埼玉大会2023の日程、日本時間スケジュール、テレビ放送、日本代表、出場選手 | スポ速 (sposoku.com), but they say that 'TV broadcast schedules will be posted as soon as information becomes available', and then I see some schedule, but it's annotated as "previous year", which is confusing (it mentions Fuji TV, women and men digest on BS Fuji, and J Sports). Anyway, if you have an access to Japanese TV, you won't miss the event for sure.
March 22, 20233 yr Just FYI, the ISU has geoblocked their YouTube Worlds feed in Canada. CBC Sports has it: https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/figure-skating/live-stream-isu-world-figure-skating-championships-2023-1.6783937 The last few times I've tried to watch figure skating using the CBC Sports site, the stream has been bloody awful and unreliable af, so be warned.

March 22, 20233 yr I did go and watch RikuRyu's SP. Absolutely wonderful, just as they've been all season. I can't help but hope that Yuzu was watching that - they're so good! I'm sure he'd love it.
March 22, 20233 yr I watched the two leaders so far - MK and Kaori. They were fantastic. Unfortunately both disciplines are set for days when I am working. Catching up is not quite as much fun. And getting up in the middle of the night doesn’t quite appeal to me. I might watch the men tomorrow. Might. No promises.
March 23, 20233 yr Congratulations Riku and Ryuichi! Is anyone watching men? Conrad's in the first group and the commentator ( is it Chris? Or Mark? Not sure) has told a rather gruesome tale of how his last couple weeks went - apparently both a broken boot, and a broken blade, at separate times. But he's looking good in the warm up, so fingers crossed!
March 23, 20233 yr Ahh poop... Conrad did his best but it looks like he can't catch a break... popped the quad toe...
