  1. He reuploaded it. Said he forgot some photos.
  2. Wow, with Kaetlyn skip GP, I have no idea about the assignment at this point o__o So Gaby will be in top 4-6 seed.
  3. It's new season not new warhorse season
  4. Its true that so far none of 4F has the same quality as other quads. Nathan is ok, but his edge goes flat sometimes. Shoma only has good inside edge. Vincent PR alot and has unclear/wrong edge. Conrad has toe hammer. The best 4F I have seen was Dai's during a warm up.
  5. I guess after what happened with HanYan and their pair skaters, I don't trust them to value their skater's opinion
  6. Evgenia is the one who personally contact with Orser. Jason too. They want to train with Orser by their own will. With Boyang, I think its more like CSA approached Brian, got a nod from him, then they inform Boyang later. For sure he had time to think and prepare himself for the move. We don't know he like it or not. I think he is willing to improve and know TCC is a good place so he won't against it. But it might take a bit longer for him to get use to the new training place, in a different country than Evgenia and Jason. Not to mention, language barrier and culture difference. Brian did have communication issue with Yuna and Yuzu, both are Asian so I guess that's why I'm a bit more worried about Boyang. Anyway, we have to wait and see how its goes.
  7. Congratulations, Yuzuru. You truly deserve it
  8. From the IN article. Its was Shen/Zhao who approached Brian. And Brian did say they barely talk aside from Korean ice show. From the wording, its indeed different if you compare to Evgenia and Jason who decided themselves. I'm not surprise because CSA decided almost everything for their skaters. Just hope he can adapt the new training enviroment soon.
  9. Back to Boyang, seem like it was CSAwho push and decided this move. I hope he's fine with it.
  10. Whatever, just hope the music cut and choreo will be good. At least better than planet and la strada.
  11. While I dont like Phil and he did create drama sometime, I don't think Brian would give an interview to someone who can twist/misquote him again and again. Some of the words can change, or they can take out some quotes to fit their own narratives but the main things have to be there. I remember an article about Nathan go to Yale had a paragraph about Nathan's mom and Olys and they deleted it quickly. So If Brian found Phil misquote him, I think he would contact right away. This is online article, not print newspaper. I'm sure he check the article once it publish. But I could be wrong, given the state of FS journalism I also think we are over analyzing his words too much.
  12. I just re read the article on laptop and realize its direct quote so yeah. As I said before, I understand the concern and why people feel uneasy because Yuzuru is not the type who could say no even when he doesn't like it. They did have a big communicate issue in 2016. We'll see how its goes. Tbh even if Yuzuru doesn't feel comfortable, what can he do ? He has no where to train but TCC at this point. I guess as long as it doesn't affect to Yuzuru's training, I'll be fine with everything.
  13. I dont think he would answer anything about how he feel about his training mate during ice show. We might have to wait until his open practice @BrightonDogwoods : I won't try to pretend that I know what's Yuzuru's thinking and how he react. There's alot of things that they never share to us. I hope things turn out fine for all skaters. I have to say getting along well in ex/gala is different from training together. There's time that people think Yuzuru and Javi are the best friend in the world until Brian reveal they never hang out and won't keep contact once they retire. He never hang out with Nobu and Keijj either. Yuzuru will just focus on his own stuff. I doubt any training mate could change his long time habit. After all, he said multiple times that he's in canada only for skating.
  14. Well, those 2 sentences indeed sound abit weird to me. Yes, I hope he would ask or said something that he did value Yuzuru's opinion like it was with Javi's. Or maybe Phil didnt give us full quote ? Because how did you know there's no issue when they're not even train together yet ? Again, I try not to read much into it,because speculation won't do any good. As a Yuzuru fan, I hope if he feel uncomfortable about anything, he would talk to his coaches right away. Not just about Boyang or any new skater, but his overall training. I understand the concern because Yuzuru did have the history of hiding his feeling and condition. But maybe things are different now. Japanese media will catch up this article soon and prepare 780032 question once Brian come to Japan. I think we will have Yuzuru's words about this, but way later. Arhhh there will be alot drama around TCC from now on and I'm not sure I'm ready for it
  15. I dont think its a big deal. Its Phil, he's the one who wrote that Brian asked Yuzuru about Evgenia coming to tcc and Yuzuru continue to compete in one sentence Brian will come to Japan for Faoi in mid june, japanese media will chase him
  16. I think if one skater doesn't feel comfortable about his training mate, it can destroy the whole team dynamic and that bad energy can affect to all skaters there. Tbh I dont think Brian would reject Yuzuru had Javi said no. They would try their best to seperate these 2 skaters and figure out how to make it work. Now they have 2 ice rink, each skaters has it own schedule and things to focus so they won't train together that much. I can see that one sentence might create alot drama, but I'm sure Brian wouldn't come to Yuzuru's apartment to ask one question then left when he saw no reaction
  17. It would be better if we dont analyze his words too much I won't try to guess what no reaction from Yuzuru means because I know they won't give us more info about it. I think it would be better if he ask Yuzuru like he did with Javi but I dont know the way they communicate so that's it. Yuzuru will be fine. He has his own goal and nothing to prove, he still working with the same people like he did for the past 6 years. They won't even train together that much expect stroking class. All 3 new skaters will face some difficulties as they need time to adapt the new training system and competition approach. If anything, I'm a bit worried about Boyang. It seem like Tracy is the one who push Brian to accept Jason. I have a feeling Brian won't work too much with him. Whatever, I hope they can mange and balance things, especially when it comes to competition. All the best for all skaters
  18. Just my opinion, some sections have abit Javi's feel. I fear they would package Boyang like Javi's ( like Nam in his first senior season), so its interesting to see what kind of direction and theme they would go for. At least with another choreographer, we won't see that many recycle move like Lori. Again, it could be an EX
  19. The music sound like something Javi would skate. Could be a LP or EX. We'll see.
  20. I know the rumor and think its her too but we still need confirmation. Its fun to see the general reaction for all these coaching change if you compare to what people said about Brian after Yuna leaving and Yuzuru move to TCC back in 2012. Clearly Yuzuru and Javi's success really change the wave
  21. Haha Is Brian and his team not good for anyone at this point ? From the last couple of season, everytime a skater under perform, his name immidiately pop up. But when it comes to Raf, people are all doom and gloom As for Jason, I'm surprise by this move as I was with Evgenia's. He's very polished and has good packaging. I can see they make his 3A more stable. but for quads, I dont know. Even in practice, his quad success rate is quite low and prone UR. When I watch his quad and 3A, I feel its a combination of timming, slow rotation speed and nerves. If thing become metal block, no coaches can help you. Yuzuru struggled with 4S for 2 seasons and I think the COC accident actually help him to throw that metal block away. I still look forward to see David Wilson choreo for him, but I feel he come to TCC for good training enviroment that he can do what he love, rather than aiming for clear goal. With Nathan and Vincent and upcoming US junior turn senior, Brian's name may help him to maintain his current pcs ( but i dont know about US Nat ). I also agree with @KatjaThera that at this point Yuzuru doesn't need a rival to push him forward. He and Javi both came to TCC at early stage of their career, they face the same challenge and their reputation are pretty much the same. Not to be a shipper, but I feel Yuzuru and Javi have a very special bond that I dont think we can see with any other skater. In an interview, Jun said he and other skater did say hello or have some simple conversation, but that's it, everyone just focus on their own training. I can see the same with Yuzuru. I don't think any new skaters can make Yuzuru change his long time habit. Although we can say right now Yuzuru skate for his own goal and satisfaction, but as long as he compete, he always aim for winning. And with that, he still need all the attention and support from his coaching team like he had in the past, not half of it because the competition won't be easier, and the pressure on him can only go higher. . Its good that we already knew he also work with Ghislain for good amount of time, and he himself will decide his own direction, program, layout and transision. Brian and Tracy might monitor the general things and give their input to perfect thing for him. But I agree when it comes to competition, Brian is the best, simply he has more experiences than any other TCC coaches ( And even with that, he still has mistake sometimes). Thats why we saw Tracy and Ghislain play a more active role from last season. I still think its too crowded for TCC, with Yuzuru, Evgenia, Boyang, Jason, Gabby, Jun, LilBet, Brian will have 2-3 students per GP, not to mention senior B. The WC and 4CC will be a chaos when most of these skaters spots are already fixed. As I said, more people, more problem. Things went wrong when there's only between 2-3 people, there's no sign that it won't happen again in the future. I hope Brian and his team can work it out, for everyone's sake.
  22. Of course thats just what I feel. We still dont have confimation from Boyang's side. 4 years is a long time, some can leave Tcc before 2022 if something go wrong. (I dont know if Jason aim for 2022, he's the same age with Yuzuru and has a fair amount of injuries). Not that I wish that happen, but to expect all 3 of them have the same kind of success and improvement like Yuna Yuzu and Javi is abit... unrealistic. They need to adapt the new training system, change their training habit and communication. As i said before some skaters never click well with Tcc. And more people, more problem. And with the club being too crowded like this, the team gonna have alot of works to balance things out. I will wait for actual result to speak itself rather than judging this or that is the best move
  23. I mean between 3 of them, they will focus on Evgenia more, as expectiations for her and Orser and his team are higher
  24. Judging purely from 3 announcements, I think Orser and his team's top priority will be Evgenia. Jason's sound more vague, its more like having a good training enviroment than clear goal or improving techique . Of course I can be wrong, but I see him being on similar case like Gabby and LilBet.
  25. I can see him work with Karen Preston and Lee Barkell more. Brian and Tracy is listed as coach for all TCC skaters as they are the one who monitor things and stuffs ( Again, when will they put Ghislain in Yuzuru's bio). Interesting, Orser and Jason didn't state anything about 2022, or have a more detail plan like Evgenia's. I dont expect him to land quad left and right. If they can help his 3A more stable and land a 4T/4S occasionally, it would be a big archivement. I dont think TCC is that great in term of fixing jumping technique. Raf is. Seem like David Wilson choreo is a must for all new Tcc skaters. I'm glad Yuzuru's over that
