About Yuzu, I don't think his new costume represents the sunset. Remember he used to say "there is no night without dawn"? The theme is hope and the courage to move forward, so it's sunrise, not sunset. Or, you know, it might not be about the sun at all. Ito-san's Instagram story just gave images of wisteria in baby pink and light purple. Maybe it's just that.

Re: Ballade, IMO on PCS, his Olys was still > 4CC but only slightly so. Agree with your opinions on the jumps in 4CC and the GPF ver, but I didn't like his ACI ver that much cos I thought it was a bit hectic (very contrary to you LOL). Looking back at Yuzu's SP scoresheet at the 2021 WC is something 😂 (Thanks skatingscores.com) - He got 2 0s (!!!!!!) for his 4S, whose range goes from an abysmal 0 to an impressive score of 4. - The Czech judge was vibing hard and I'm here for it because Yuzu should have received something like 110 anyway. - Someone must have pissed off the GBR judge because everyone's scores were lower (but of course, the least affected one was N because he is the American darling and pioneer of the FS world right? And or course, Yuzu screwed up so badly) - No comments about the rest cos we all know how wacked his actual score was.

Def the popularity boost + Nate boost combo, if you ask me. If they can get the best of both worlds, why not? Anyway, they will go vile and passive aggressive towards Yuzu again real soon -.-
