The costume design also includes 逆さ桜 (upside down cherry blossoms) that relates to lord Kenshin (謙信公). There's a story about lord Kenshin that he picked a cherry blossom branch to use it for fortune-telling of sending troops to Kanto area for the first time. The cherry blossom branch that had been planted upside down somehow rooted and bloomed.

Thanks for confirming. I couldn't find the interview among the flood of info/news/tweet but knew from the wording/phrasing I saw that he must have decided not to have coaches with him.

In one of the interviews I've seen today, Yuzu mentioned something about the coaches. Something in the lines like "If he can manage himself, he'd participate in the competition alone" as if to say he could have coaches if he really needed/wanted to but he did not pursuit it out of whatever the reason he believes. Seeing Lambiel and Lee Barkell accompanying their athletes, I thought maybe it was possible for Yuzu to ask one of the TCC coaches to accompany him but he's chosen not to. I'm not sure about travel restrictions between Canada and Japan but I'm sure the coaches and athletes traveling from overseas had more relaxed rules re isolation, etc in Japan.

I don't think so. Yuzu would never leave him behind! I think the pooh is in Sendai in Yuzu's room kept safe. Like someone else said earlier that his old battered body would not survive harsh cleaning so.

I could be wrong but Let Me Entertain You is going to be Queen's version and not Robbie Williams. The vibe I get from Queen is like LGC from Prince - rock legends. Robbie is a super star in his own right but not the same caliber as Queen. I'd say JButt will probably pick more rock than pop/rock for Yuzu. Only one thing is, I hope the costume is not too much of Freddie Mercury respect If Yuzu wears Freddie inspired leotard costume then I don't know who can survive such impact...

Fuji TV: IT! 15:45 - 19:00 Yuzuru Hanyu's in the practice session the day before (the competition) FNN Live News a 24:00 - 24:45 Yuzuru Hanyu and others official/open practice - Japan Nationals FS tomorrow I get a feeling that they will show like a snippets of the practice session. These are "News" programs and they will just have a small segment of figure skating where Yuzu and others having practice session. We will wait and see... Yuzu feeling nervous about competing because of the pandemic is understandable. But he has decided to compete despite all the risks so I will just support his decision 100% and cheer for him!! He needs our positive thoughts and good vibe. His new programs will be diamonds in rough but we will be blown away for sure!!

4A seems closer than we thought... Yuzu said he can imagine/visualise in the head now about 4A and he's also said that all he has to do now is to align his own body to that image. He did say before that if he can visualise/imagine in his head, he can pretty much do that movement physically. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

I've finished work today and have started my Christmas break New pic of Yuzu and the news of both SP & FS new programs are just the thing we all needed at the end of this horrible year of 2020. I'm praying hard for Yuzu's and everyone's safety at JNat. NEW PROGRAM x 2 & NEW COSTUMES x 2!!!! I CANNOT WAAAAAAAAAIT!!!!!

This can't be shipped to overseas really sucks. This calendar is for you to select the photos from Yuzu photo book and also some of them are never seen before photos. I seriously considering if I should get one...or two... as if you place your order within the period, you can order as many as you want and will not be sold out!! It's a bit pricy but then you can choose photos from all the events in 2019/2020 season.

With PW, Yuzu is supposed to be expressing a womanizer's flirty way with women so Hoochie Coochie Man is more fitting to that theme than Parisienne Walkways as the lyrics of PW is more of a romantic & sentimental longing to a woman and days spent with her in Paris. But I seriously doubt if Yuzu knew what exactly hoochie coochie man really means. Jeff on the other hand is the guilty one

While I was looking for bumblebee figure skating, this one popped up. They're so cute Meanwhile, Yuzu's new SP could be something very grown-up and I'm secretly hoping that the program would be somewhere along the lines of LGC + PW with a touch of Masquerade... yes I do have a death wish
