While his exquisite outward toepick creates the wonder of 0 prerotation, it makes it extra hard to complete rotation at the landing as the momentum at the take off must complete a few more degrees than inside toepick (ie. When he lands well, it's actually slightly >4 rotations). On the other hand, inside toepick can "cheat" some degrees on ice. No doubt Yuzu's 4Lz has always been on and off, he has chosen the hard path from the start.

Thanks God the virus spared him that 4CC gold medal. Imagine if it had spread ealier and 4cc had to be cancelled, yuzu would haved failed to win 4CC at his 4th try:)))

Heard from where? It's just plain stupidity to do so, cuz I'm sure no one wants to see the Awards next year if they don't let Yuzu skate. Fans endure it ONLY to watch him skate. Everybody knows that.

Yes its like they still skated yesterday but its been 10 yrs. Watch their skates again it doesnt feel outdated at all! Like they would have still medalled in some comps today with those perfs. Even under new +-5GOE system, scoring 150 or landing 3 3As is still impressive achievement! Its so different for men's thou, I cant imagine the men's medallists could medal anywhere now with those scores. Cant think of any top men's (except like Jason) to have 0 or only 1 quad in the FS.

The 4S in SC SP is GORGEOUS too i just dont have a closer up shot for it. This ss he landed at least 4 4S that are as brilliant as this but none got straight . The one in 4CC FS is even the biggest among all yet only got +3.88GOE. His hand-down 4lz earlier might have given judge an excuse to put a GOE cap for later jumps:(. That's why I feel whenever Yuzu competes he must always be extra careful as any step-out, hand-down doesnt only affect that jump but also creates a cap in judge's mind for his other elements. While for other skaters they tend to "save" them with better GOEs for landed jumps to make up any mistake, sigh:( There WAS an official proposal like that to ISU from fed member (i dont rmb who but just small fed) and ofc got rejected instantly

BEST angle of the BEST 4S this season probably. Look how incredibly stable his axis is throughout and the pretty ice mark of his landing curve (that ended with a counter exit ) video Got +4.16 GOE (only 3/9 judges gave it )

Honestly any smartphone with 60fps can do the TP job: telling PR, UR, edge etc. Like we see clearly in many fancams. It's just ISU gives 0 f*ck

It's Fuji's copyrighted technology how can other ppl know? I guess it might have smt to do with special cameras as besides I-scope they also have I-stats in Jnats that measures ice coverage and speed:

Will ISU use I-scope again in Worlds? I want Yuzu's 4lz stats. I expect them to use it for all major comps since Worlds 19 but this season they only did for GPF and nothing for EC and 4CC at all! They even stripped me of his 4Lo stats in GPF FS with a plain graph and NO STATS! Good job ISU thanks for nothing Btw since I-scope was put into use (just Worlds, GPF, Nats 18 and 19), Yuzu's 4S in GPF SP and 3A in Worlds 19 SP are the best stats for quads and triples correspondingly. This app didn't measure quads often, mostly 3As and you can tell from numbers Yuzu 3A's height and distance is a different universe from others

Some coined terms that I think need to popularize in FS + examples that ignorant ISU commentator can refer to: - Yuzuish (adj): a complete skater with good qualities in all aspects (Eg: this xyz skater is very yuzuish and has great potential in future) - Yuzugram (n): program music used to be skated by Yuzu (Eg: The Yuzugrams prove to bring many juniors great results) - Yuzucos (n): costume inspired by Yuzu (Eg: this skater is wearing Yuzucos which becomes a trend recently) - Yuzuxel (n): axel from back counter entry (Eg: He just did a Yuzuxel that got +1000000GOE across the board) Very useful short terms that listeners can get the point instantly

Lol who cares about spin? She isnt so bad of a spinner that it affects your experience thou. I just appreciate her complete work that no lady even now has achieved, that's it. If nitpicking ofc nobody is perfect.

I dont think Yuzu is at that stage anymore. Like you can never swim if you don't let go of the float and drink some water:)
