like I said oktoberfest (yes the one in munich) is just a huge drinking party from the local breweries and venders and carrusels today but it started out as the festivities around the wedding of Ludwig I in 1810. I don't get the attraction. the again I have carnival in February/March for drinking and partying so...

Î don't really know about east asia, but the ones that come to mind from europe all have something to do with harvest if they have a long tradition. It's because late summer + autumn is the traditional big harvest season. Examples: the winefestivals, Erntedank (literally harvest thanks but it's religious I could translate thanksgiving but that word is a bit...)... Yeah the equinoxes too often have some sort of very old traditions/festivals (reason christmas is celebrated when it is...the church compromised when christianising the pagans of europe way back when because they already celebrated around that time). The younger ones... well look at oktoberfest started as a wedding bash for the then bavarian king but they loved the party and kept partying (why oh why is it always german=bavarian it gets on my nerves...no we don't all wear dirndl (it's appropriate for Nebelhorn bc oberstdorf is in Bavaria))

Just watched Onmyouji 1+2 and loved them ...sure vfx are a bit ...and it feels a bit like a theatre piece but that works well (imo)... ...I also found the trailer for 1 on youtube... I liked the editing and stuff but the music didn't fit... don't get me wrong I love that music but Mozarts requiem (esp. dies irae) doesn't really fit the film...just because it's dramatic...And Onmyoji has a gorgeous soundtrack... Dies Irae starts at 1:30 edit: at least --> especially (fits better with what I wanted to say)

I don't really have a favourite commentator but I like it when commentators have a positiv attitude and actually comment on technical stuff maybe. the guy who's doing junior grand prix at the moment is nice. I don't really like the russian commentary because they talk to much in the skate itself and I can't enjoy it (can't hear the music well etc). I can't really comment on german commentary in general cause it's been to long that I watched on TV, but I like the german commentary for Helsinki FS

Oh I'd love more photoshoots for Yuzuru... I want more Photos of him in traditional clothes. He looks damn good in hakama etc...wish he would do sth with a Kimono Brand...yeah I know that's wishful thinking but let me dream..

I love the change ex.....and alot of others too, but change wasn't on the list

Oh yes the collar...^^ looks more kimonoesque which I like Me neither... or any other color changes for that matter...

yeah that's the one for the season but i think it wasn't the final version. the one from the rest of the season seams heavier on embroidery and stuff

And I think Seimei 1.0 was different at ACI too compared to the rest aof the season (Or was it just with the ice shows).

Me too I love the pattern^^. And I also prefere this green over the one from gpf15. I somehow think that it Is not quite complete yet...I think it will become even sparklier.

While I like the white part and the detailing on it, I would have wished for different support colors (Again with violet and green). I will hold out judgement until after CoR to see if it's the final version. I think there have been changes to part of the costumes for at least the past two years, so I'm waiting til russia. Oh but I love the sparkliness

Du glückliche...du warst in Helsinki...dieses Wechselbad der Gefühle... Ich konnte leider nicht hin...passte vom Geld und vom Termin leider nicht....*heul* ich komm mit in die selbsthilfe Gruppe bin gerade BA-Arbeit am schreiben...japanisch geht einigermaßen obwohl Kanji immer ein Problem sein werden.....und Yuzu in UA..hui ja ich weiß was du meinst... Oh ja is schon was komisch auf Deutsch über Eiskunstlauf zu schreiben...besonders über Yuzu. Ich bin generell eher weniger in Foren unterwegs weil ich meistens mit der Navigation etc nich so klarkomme aber hier fühl ich mich wohl. Was auch daran liegen kann, dass es um Yuzu geht... Gruß aus Bonn an euch alle.

Yup that's Subaru-kun (love him so much). Quite appropriate that he be used for inspiration as Subaru is an Onmyouji. Sry for commenting on this more than a month after it was posted, but I only joined this forum today (well yesterday it's 1h03 am)....M(_._)M gomen... As for my preferred colorscheme for the seimei costume... well...I think I will go with the red/white/gold. Though I'd also love red/black/gold or some variations with blue...Oh and sparkles...we can't have Yuzu without sparkles. Wahhh...I'm so excited for Seimei 2.0...Seimei just fits Yuzu so well...
