  1. But this is great! Stamina can be sorted out, his team has been handling that for years now. It's just a matter of getting him back in gear. It doesn't look like it's any kind of injury worry at all, I'm happy!
  2. Guys. Guys, grab your tinfoil hats. I've got a new one. So. Soooo. How about, he's having trouble with overrotating his 4T because he's going for - yep - a quint?! (I'm kidding. I'm not serious. It's a joke. It's just really funny to think 'well with the pre-rotation unavoidable in a toeloop, it's practically just a quarter of a rotation more than Nessie. I need sleep. The Hanyu has broken my brain.)
  3. That little flourish with his hand on the hydroblade, aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!
  4. It will totally depend on his stamina, I think. If he tries to 4A beginning of Origin now, he'll need Ghislain to come on and tug him along on a little snowboard for the second half of the programme. With how completely different Origin is from his previous few frees, it'll take a while before he can auto-pilot it, it's taking a lot out of him.
  5. But he's a lying liar, you know. What if the 4A is actually more comfortable because landing doesn't hurt, it's picking that makes him uncomfortable?
  6. I think 4Lo in the SP would be a pretty safe option, too. He said the toe, sal and loop are - I dunno how he put it, but basically, muscle memory for him and come back easily? He had a whole season of LGC with 4Lo in the SP, and Chopin in shows with 4Lo in it. Not putting it in would be a little regression. I think I'm going insane because now I think it would be smart to put the 4A in the SP, at least if it makes him bomb, it's only one-third of the whole thing he'd bomb. It would be radical but still makes sense to gamble with the SP and play it safe in the FS. Less risky from points and stamina perspective. If everybody makes an average number of mistakes, he can win after losing a combo on the SP if he has the perfect FS, but he can't win if he has the perfect SP and then more than one or two pops in the FS, not in a big competition with all the other quad jumpers.
  7. Guys I seem to have broken our Banoctopooh. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.
  8. ... On the other hand he's probably going to pop everything after he lands 4A so that's fewer points to lose if there are fewer jumps to pop, one of which is the 3A which is his old friend now. ... Snitches get stitches, I'll have you know.
  9. About his 4Lz, we saw it at CoR because he'd crocked his knee well and good before ACI and he changed his entire layout for it. Otherwise we would've seen it at ACi. If he's completely fit and his practices are going well, I honestly expect it for ACi, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the SP because that layout he gave for his SP is complete nonsense, it's going back two seasons and the layout he landed perfectly when his ankle was held together by Kikuchi san's expertise and some bandage. A fit Yuzu telling us we're going to see him do a 4S 3A 4T-3T when he has his 4Lo back? Yeah, not buying that. If he's feeling good, I think he'll go for it. For me it's a question of how exactly is he trolling with that SP layout - is he taking the 4Lo and putting it in there, and changing FS like he said he would? Or is he going to go straight 4A in the SP? ETA: I don't think it'll be later than Helsinki if all goes according to plan. The second GP and GPF are things he needs to win, I don't think we'll be seeing Nessie for the first time at either.
  10. Sounds about right, yep.
  11. I tend to panic ahead of schedule and then - this is one of my more amazing skills - I sustain that panic at a steady and very high level until everything is all done and I am free to collapse like a puppet whose strings have finally and thankfully been cut. It should be impossible because that kind of panic takes a ridiculous amount of energy but I stay way up there and bake like a maniac. I considered cooking instead but knives, no, I don't think so. I am prepared but not ready. Which means there will always be biscuits, cookies, muffins or cakes in case anybody needs a sugar rush, too. Yuzu, have you got any idea what you've done to us?!
  12. I have stocked up on coffee and rum (those who don't like vodka are free to tap me for that), and bought a lot of baking supplies, and sandwich makings for the whole week because I don't see myself taking the effort to cook anything. Still not ready.
  13. You should've seen how totally zen I was during the Olys. Oh yes, absolutely zen. The very picture of it.
  14. *ahem* Maybe I can write the letter later. After some tea. @Xen I'll take moon cakes too, please. I can offer coconut cookies.
  15. I am writing a very stern letter to Pooh. And the editor.
  16. You. You're not allowed to do that this season. Infuriating. Satellites are losing their minds and you're just sipping tea and being zen. Not allowed. Outlawed along with paprika. No more zen!
  17. And the Milan stsq got a level 4 despite hopped steps for I don't know what joy, which made me very mad after all the stsq level 3s that Yuzu's Seimei has got. Not relevant to H&L TES where he was perfect but it contributed a little bit to that TES for Nathan, too.
  18. It is really unlikely to happen also because I don't think he'd do one of his usual extra difficult entries for the 4A, so that suddenly simple 3A would stick out like a sore thumb. Actually, we wouldn't need that to go a little nuts, any 3A with a simple entry from him anywhere, even in practice, would be seen as preparation for 4A!
  19. Does nobody else see '4S 3A 4t-3T' layout for SP and think 'fat chance'? If his 4Lo is completely back, and it seems to be completely back, then the odds of Yuzu deliberately making a choice to go back to his very old SP layout, from two years ago? I mean, sure, he can do it in his sleep now, but his planned SP layout has been with 4Lo for two years now, it took an ankle that was basically taped into one piece to stay on his leg to make him go back to it last season. He never goes for the easy layouts, he always levels up. Releasing layout details with pre-LGC planned layout, I mean, I have to say, TROLL?! It's smart trolling, too, because it would be a completely sensible thing to do considering that is the WR layout from last quad, and it makes sense to stick with the easy layout for SP when he's got very high aims for his FS, and he would be playing it safe. We'd nod and agree because it's the sensible thing to do, but it's not a very Yuzuru thing to do, is it? He literally called this a watered-down layout last ACI. I don't think it's his actual planned layout if his 4Lo is really back.
  20. That rather delicate body of his would be broken by now. Rest when it hurts? Don't skate again until recovered? Get treatment at all on time, even if it means prioritising some competitions less? What are these things?
  21. All ranks should be set to 4A for a week.
  22. Ten... Ten days? Where did off-season go? I am so ready but costumes, I am not ready? *runs around in circles screaming a little*
  23. .... Sex Bomb. I'm telling you, the boy was taking notes, he had something planned.
  24. I wonder how his spins went.
