I agree! I hadn't seen every video yet, even those I posted myself (Only Boyang and Sui/Han actually) but now that I sat down and watched them, I can agree that I quite like all of the senior Team China programs. And though I am laughing at bit at the obvious national inflation PCS scoring for Boyang, I do believe this program helped him develop his skating skills quite a bit and I'm looking forward to seeing it skated clean. Boyang also remains the only guy I know (are there others I've missed?) who goes into his 4T from a straight line while everyone else does a 3-turn.

I don't know what the source of this is (anyone know?) but apparently Mitsuki said he'd like to reach the JGP final so he'd be skating in the same event as Yuzu. Cute!

I didn't notice that when I watched it on the stream but the closeup video of Zhenya's program really showed that moment well and I do agree. I felt like the program had ended and was ready to mentally clap, when suddenly the drums come, she moves and 'receives her soul back' and... I'm sorry, Zhenya, but it completely threw me off. I do think Zhenya tends to emote these things to the wide audience in the rink, the way a theater actor does, so people in the back can still see and understand, but it always looks so exaggerated on closeup video and in this case I don't even really understand the need for the second ending when the first was already perfect. But it's such a lovely program otherwise and I love her skating here. Looking forward to her FS today!

Man, Brian really didn't shut up, did he? He was doing good hyping up work, indeed, especially about the repeat thing, but it's also so heart-warming to read about how Yuzu is being more proactive, talking more with his coaches, and how Brian and Tracy want to find ways to help him relax a bit because Toronto will always be all about the training for him and he can over-focus on it. No mention of Patrick there too, Brian? Mean. j/k Yeah.... about that..... What does trimmed out means in this context, I wonder? Did they cut out some parts of the step sequence and replaced them with new choreography? Looking forward to seeing the evolved programs throughout the season. ACI's version won't even be the final version, since even if he nails it, he's still going to keep polishing it. Yuzu relaxing and laughing in practice, I'm Keep doing the good work, BrianTracy&Co. Thank you so much, @gladi. I understand now what an epic effort this was. I think Brian spoke more than Yuzu in all magazines combined!
