I still wonder why not just hold 4CC instead of the GPF there? Only if GPF have less participants

Don't think cup of Russia will be dropped, but I hope there will be exemptions, at least for Euro/WC/GP medalists or smth like this. I don't see any reason why Vika felt the need to skated with injured knee. I also wonder why in pairs it's again a boy with a positive test, are girls maybe more careful?

I also dunno how much distance coaching can help Yuzu. The good thing will be to have Ghislain by his side for learning a new jump, but how much of an advise can be given over video call... that's an interesting question (though maybe Yuzu sends some videos by mail to him, who knows).

In RusFed a lot is decided behind closed doors, so I don't think we should apply word ethical to anything going on here.

Not sure it wouldn't. Miyabi series is VERY pricey.

I think Kose has cosmetic's page in English. I only tried one Sekkisei herbal cream, felt nice.

Megabus ride was quite OK. I'd say Niagara Falls has good connection as it's famous, to go to other places without car would be more problematic. It's a pity Canada doesn't have high speed trains like Europe and Japan - really makes long distant travel easy.

I think you can say this about a lot of nations. Like a relevantly little percent of Russians was abroad, big part of it is due to money issues or language barrier, but a lot of people are not interested in travelling that much of just do it within the country (was always hard for me to understand this). And really Japan has so much to offer in internal tourism, so I also may be not interested in travel if I were Japanese)) of course European towns are interesting first few times, but after first interest dies down I prefer nature much more to museums etc.

I think there was a group number during last WTT Gala with scarfs (or I mix things up), also a solo bit during FAOI opening in golden jacket and Eva last year.

Interesting. I myself see him more like a technical coach given how we know he gave advises to other skaters than choreographer (seeing small bits of his choreo ). Being great artist doesn't mean he can be great choreographer for others (though who knows). But also I see him doing smth bigger for the sport.

I don't see Yuzu staying in any other country than Japan, he surely loves his home. Stalking also must be less after retirement and I am not sure how bad it is now. I think most Sendai people are respectful.

Yeah, would prefer chocolate...

I think last season's FS was not so bad, this year the program is too busy, but nothing new here. I don't think Eteri's student will go for choreo abroad, but sometimes Averbuch can make a nice program (it can be hit or miss, but at least less leg kicks).

Partly numbers are increasing cuz from September school and university has started, also people came back from vacation. But why numbers are increasing so fast, I don't really know. There's a mandority testing at work, around 10% of company workers every 2 weeks (but this rule is from summer already), my friend works in big company and was tested several times already, I am in small and most work I am doing from home, so we're not tested at the office. Seeing now less people in the metro in the morning my guess is a lot came back to working from home or partly at least (some didn't come back to full time office even through summer, but my impression is there were more people in peak hours in the beginning of September). I think medical stuff is tested regularly, also police maybe. I can only say from experience of friends (mostly not mine though) not everybody with mild symptoms gets tested and hospitalizations are done only with high temperature, but I think in spring it was the same. But in April we had more or less strict lockdown, I am not sure it will be the same now.

Here it's the same as you saw at test skates and checks were obviously not strict enough. At the same time now checks for masks are more strict in shops and other public places from it's stuff, cuz maybe they're more afraid of fines now, also some people may become more sensible cuz numbers are on the rise. Hydroalcoholic solution is in a lot of places: shops, metro atc.

The question is if public is willing to follow the measures. I am sure that at NHK they will, cuz that's how Japanese are, and at CoR they won't, I don't know how it'll be in France. If there's a doubt it's more simple to hold it without audience.

I think US, CoR and NHK will follow through most likely. Though Russia and Moscow numbers are on the rise, so for now it's impossible to predict.

Wow, pity overseas fans can't buy, my friend really wants one, but I don't have Chinese friends, only Japanese one. P.S. but if smb is willing to help with buying, plz PM me

I think cuz there are some unknown facts, like T/M I think we're going to ScAm not CoR, some of American ID couples also thought about ScAm and not SC (even if training in Montreal), or maybe it's more like some official procedure.

I don't think I saw any skater on the ice with watches - might be dangerous in case of a fall, so maybe only if during press-con. Luckily this watch aren't my style and I'm not using watches in daily life anyway (but music box is great idea!)
-
But T/M are still training abroad, maybe cuz Fed saw profit and potential last season despite mistakes. With Medo they might not see profit and don't want to pay for expensive coach abroad anymore with no good results. So considering training abroad I think we shouldn't forget financial part, if athletes paid themselves for all, maybe Fed cared much less were they're training.

Well, I am sure skaters will know from Feds before general public. I am only interested in CoR to see how much I want a ticket...

I think Seimei is a great costume for the program, but my faves are Etude and Origin (both) - I really love when costume has tight sleeves, so we can see Yuzu's great hand movements (though I can make an exception for floaty Chopin - it's also great for that program). P.S. Who am I kidding, UA is the best costume ever P.P.S. And PPoS have special place in my heart forever
