I know!! if i have better photo shop skill... but it is too cute to not use it i think he used the same word as shoma in japanese
-
i was surprised he used the word "attack,' sounds like shoma, so i think he knows he needs to be aggressive with the tech in order to win

I think Chopin is a great choice, he skates it with an air of the champion, and this confidence and sureness i think will influence the perception of the judges.( remembering the british uncles saying he looked vulnerable this past season.) For Chopin 2.0 I thought he looked like he was dancing on piano, but with Chopin 3.0, even tho doesn't exactly match the music, looks like he is conducting the music and owning the music like the champion, especially 4T3T, and it reminds me of how he bows after the HL and world, he is conducting the crowd like Kurt said. and Olympic has huge pressure, i doubt the youngsters with too many quads would be clean in PC

I saw the 2015 attempt, but i was still surprised that he started trying it in 2014 (maybe even earlier he just never said), when everybody else just start adding quads he is already thinking about 4A
-
I just saw this video(at 12:04) , and he already said he had attempted 4A after Sochi, it's just 1/4 rotation short, and it can be recognized as 4A on the protocol, and think by now he definitely has it since he looked so confident like you said
-
yes and i always fear for his head when he jumps 4Lz, i just hope his neck will be ok
-
skating aside, it's also about how good of a competitor they are, and how they handle pressure especially if they want to compete at the Olympic. I feel like Mai is better with dealing the pressure, her facial expression is quite calm during competition
