I found a bit old tweet on Yuzuru's skating boots while I was looking for the article I wanted to refer. This seems to be an interview at the time of public practice in Toronto. Unfortunately, I have not found the relevant article yet. 4 years !! Incredible, nothing but incredible

I have always wondered why I never heard about any trouble of Yuzuru's skating boots. Some time ago, I was very surprised to read in a skating magazine that a person from the maker of the boots Yuzuru uses said that his boots hardly get scratched. The person who is taking care of his blades said something similar in another magazine. It's just a miracle how cleanly skating can make such a thing possible

I'm working near the ANA Intercontinental Tokyo, and passed by the hotel today after work. I cannot find out where the press conference took place today. Was it the place? Of course I could not do anything with it, but that's what's bothers me, as I saw two patrol cars in front of the hotel and noticed it might be the place. I should stop speculations , but; If the assignment announcement is earlier, his name might not be on the list. So he wants to tell us not to worry as it does not mean he is retiring. I think it would be the same as the last two years and he would participate only in the Nationals. To avoid another injury and to take care of his physicals, he's not going to push himself too hard in competitions, but he is determined to work hard for 4A! I had never known that this mascot character of Metele (Nagoya local TV) is named "Wolfy," a wolf in sheep's clothing.
