  1. I'm a bit worried about his health Nagano Olympic Memorial Ice Show June 8-10. Heroes & Future 2018 in NAGANO https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20180507-00000181-sph-spo http://iceshow.seesaa.net/article/458413987.html Sota seems to attend this show. I'm happy about this.
  2. That photo is taken from this MAD.

  5. Just saw Yuzuru on TV News. Look what costume he is in https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20180413-00000081-jijp-spo.view-000 https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20180413-00010000-storyfulp-spo.view-000
  6. I remember Yuzuru and Nanami sensei were happy as he did not get the edge call for his 3F in the competition at last, it may be a junior competition, but I do not remember exactly which one it was. And after Sochi, he added up his new quad challenges in the interview, but he exempted Flip jump, again I don't remember exactly, but he said "フリップは、まあいいや" or something like that, meaning "Flip, just leave it." or "just forget about it" I just thought he regards flip is the last jump to care. Just IMO, it seems that skaters who like Lutz tend to be not good at Flip. Vice Versa.
  7. Nao Kodaira - Gold Medalist of Speed Skate (500m) was surprised as called from behind "金メダリスト、見ーつけた!Kin-medalist miitsuketa! (I found a Gold Medalist!) " 11:07 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDemFqukogU&t=667s Guess who it was
  8. Some are wondering whether he wiped his face first or blades first with the same towel No worry. He wiped his face first
  9. I'm not sure about the purchase of the ticket from abroad., but if you are in Japan, you can order it on-line. The general release will be on April 1, and it will be handled by multiple agencies. The pre-order, starting from 12:00 of today (17th) Japan Time, is handled by Kyodo Tokyo. It requires registration to Kyodo Tokyo beforehand. http://l-tike.com/sports/mevent/?mid=336599 http://l-tike.com/guide/member.html ADDITION: I don't think you have forgotten, but in case, IT IS DECIDED BY LOT
  10. The pre-order for the ticket starts today (17th) http://www.continueswithwings.com/ Fingers crossed Naomi Osaka tweeted about Yuzu.

I can never escape from the temptation to see Yuzu performing CB in black with delicate lace.
  12. Yes. Yuzuru ranked top in three categories about Olympics; MVP (満足度 Satisfaction), 印象度 Impression, and 話題性 topicality. Honestly speaking, I feel it is difficult to tell the difference of the above three clearly. In any case, Yuzuru left a great impression and it was nothing but a great topic, and we were greatly satisfied in the Olympics. That's it. This is the truth nobody can deny
  13. Should I buy "Figure Skaters" too? But this magazine is too big Long Live the King
  14. It's a fest burst in Japan for a while It is said that Yuzuru's photo may be more "Amano (Yoshitaka)" than real Amano http://jin115.com/archives/52209512.html
  15. Blue Rose. Just IMO, the image Mika Ninagawa has about Yuzuru may be Edgar of Poe no Ichizoku (The Poe Family). A boy living in eternity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poe_no_Ichizoku https://search.yahoo.co.jp/image/search?rkf=2&ei=UTF-8&p=エドガー+ポーの一族
  16. Be brave and watch out !! Another wave is coming I wanted to buy this magazine released on 27 Feb., but I couldn't find it on 1 March at any bookstore in my neighbor. https://www.amazon.co.jp/完全保存版-羽生結弦-平昌オリンピック-金メダルの全記録-フライデー特別増刊/dp/406511554X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520136489&sr=8-1&keywords=羽生結弦&dpID=51hIBLWIX8L&preST=_SX218_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=srch Actually, FRIDAY is a sort of (notorious) pictorial gossip magazine, but even they have issued a Yuzuru special magazine, and fans said the content was good despite it is "FRIDAY" before release. But unfortunately I couldn't check it I'll try online or booking the second issue. I really hope I could survive by selecting magazines as I cannot afford all of them anyway EDIT: I just read the reviews. They say the pictures of FRIDAY one are not clear enough, and the angles are not good either. So, maybe I should not buy it.
  17. Thank you !!!! You cleared the clouds over me. I have not seen the link. Should I keep away? EDIT: It seems the part of Javier was translated wrongly into Japanese. And Boyan's part was omitted.
  18. Some Japanese fans found this translated text interesting. It seems to be taken from a comment in English posted at reddit, 4chan, or somewhere. I would be pleased if someone could tell me the original English. I did the reverse translation of this myself. Nathan Chen was caught by the Olympic Demon. Mikhail Kolyada gave in to the Olympic Demon. Javier Fernández was captivated by the Olympic Demon. Shoma Uno has not noticed the Olympic Demon. Yuzuru Hanyu was the Olympic Demon. EDIT: Thanks to @Fresca, the original post was found in 4chan See the following. It seems Javi's part was translated wrongly into Japanese (it should be 魅了した instead of 魅了された), and Boyan's part was omitted. Nathan was caught by the Olympic demon. Kolyada succumbed to the Olympic demon. Boyan slayed the Olympic demon. Javier charmed the Olympic demon. Shoma didn't notice the Olympic demon. YUZURU WAS THE OLYMPIC DEMON.
  19. I think you are right. https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/article?a=20180227-00011772-jprime-ent http://www.jprime.jp/articles/photo/11772?utm_source=headlines.yahoo.co.jp&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=related
  20. What I learned recently. 1. Yuzuru Hanyu can't ride a bicycle. (I might have heard this some time before (before Sochi maybe), but totally forgotten.) 2, Yuzuru Hanyu likes sodas and crisps. Why do these things sound cute to me?
  21. Plushy was always right. He predicted Yuzuru would be Olympic Champion long before Sochi. He said, "It's me who will be the Olympic Champion. If not me, it's Yuzuru Hanyu."
  22. Has this been already posted? Sports Hochi: http://www.hochi.co.jp/sports/winter/20180213-OHT1T50174.html Satoko received a very disappointing score for her SP in Team Event. She must have been very encouraged by Yuzuru. How sweet
  23. Seems to be a talk of Yuzuru and Miho Takagi, a speed skater, featured in a sports paper in July 2013, before Sochi Olympics. She could not go to Sochi after all, but today, actually she won Silver medal in 1500m !! Congratulations Miho ! https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20180212-00000164-spnannex-spo https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20180212-00124185-nksports-spo
  24. Seeing Yuzuru jumped 3A in today's practice, and with the fact Mirai Nagasu (Japanese American, dare to say) has become the third woman to land 3A in the Olympics after Midori Ito and Mao Asada, and Rika Kihira has become the first woman landed 3A+3T, I just wondered why Japanese skaters love 3A so much Sorry a bit
  25. In Japanese, we have a word 人たらし hitotarashi . There are some people whom people (regardless of age or sex) cannot resist liking, not by sexual meaning. This word means those people. This explains the characteristics of hitotarashi https://ikejo.net/hito-tarashi-9471 That is, 1) Polite 2) Good at asking something to someone 3) Never deny others 4) Never say anything negative 5) Dedicated/diligent I always thought Yuzuru is one of great hitotarashi And you know, there is another word, maybe newer than hitotarashi, おやじキラー oyaji (uncle)-killer , who attracts uncles, of course not by sexual meaning. Maybe the characteristics are similar to the above. I don't think I need to explain who is the king of oyaji-killer There may be oyaji fanbases already, even if not apparent yet. I have seen many uncles who do not hide their liking or praising of Yuzuru on TV, magazines, etc.
