Well.....falling on a spin is certainly something different🙈😅.

But he did really, really well😊. I think two jumps were underrotated, but it looked stable. He took his time and seemed calm to me, no feeling of insecurety like in the short. So whatever he did to reach this calm focus, I hope he keeps doing it😉.

I read more than one Twitter post kind of in shock that Roman went clean on his jumps this early in the season. But of course a fully clean program is too much to ask for this early

So, Roman won nationals.

First, congrats🥳🍀.

But.....

I think this program is just not the best for him.....the advantage of his nice lines gets, with the exception of a few moments, a bit lost (my opinion) and with the music being so slow, it just doesn't help the overall feeling of his skating.

Roman's latest video. He recaps the season... seems like he's had a few health challenges! (I feel like the words 'septic' and 'bursitis' should never, not ever, be together in a sentence, but apparently it's a thing ).

 

 

 

To sum up: i think going forward, I'm just going to celebrate how well Roman manages to do despite all the obstacles... instead of wishing he could do better.

Same.....gosh, what bad luck to have.

But can we talk about these two cute cats😍🤩😍. They are adorable! And on a personal level, I'm so happy for him that he and his girlfriend are still together.
