Holy shit yes I'm so happy for Virtue/Moir, YEAH to the revenge golds!!! I'M LOVIN' THESE OLYMPICS!!!

I couldn't wake up to watch it live because I got home just a few hours earlier from Korea (which was a 24-hour long trip) and I had to wake up for work, so I really needed that 4 hour sleep instead of ice dance...A part of me thought that P/C would win it probably. But then I woke up and had the feeling that T/S won. I quickly searched for the videos and when I saw the new WR, the 123 score with that out of synch twizzle... I thought-...ok bye, the French won. Then Tessa and Scott skated and they did it so perfectly as the last couple in their group, it was amazing!    It was soo close! it was about four points better than their highest FD score, but honestly I didn't think the judges would score them above 120 or 121. I am happy that they did. 

They deserve it so much - if I'm not mistaken, with their 3 golds and 2 silvers they are the most decorated Olympians in this sport, no one got more medals than them.  What an achievement! 

 

Congratulations to Papadakis and Cizeron, too! They are still very young and they have time to improve a lot in the next years. If everything goes well and they stay healthy, they can be the the absolute No.1. ice dancers in the next seasons. They have at least one or maybe even two shots for that OGM. I wish them good luck! 

 

Congrats to ShibShibs too for their bronze as well! US has a medal, probably the only one in the inidivual events....

 

I still need to watch some other performances from the Top 10-12, because I only saw the top couples so far.

 

I only now watched some replays from earlier groups and I'm in love with Sara&Kirill - so much fun to watch them and also Piper&Paul - so true to their style, a lot of interesting elements, always in character , also love her dress!
