The sec I open up the stream I see a guy in red falling and sliding his way across the  ice.

Red mess, my pet name for him

And though their jumps are so so, first group and all, I must admit their skating skills are really nice, across the board.

i tuned in to see what was going on and sure enough, little Stephen zooming around :) He is used to skating with the "bigger" guys, in more ways than one.

Poor baby is all over the place. Pressure of the Seniors I'd say but it's all good experience, here's hoping he just doesn't injure himself.

All over the place, but it's practice... and for a kid who just turned 13, he's got some great skills. You can tell once again that TCC focuses on skills rather than just jumps. His second 3A attempt was really high...  I am pretty impressed. How he does in competition is the real test...

It will be interesting to see how the tall young guys do. We've got a few of them... Conrad, Roman, Nicolas...even Nam (although he doesn't seem to have the speed and flow that the other guys have). They're so tall now...  if they've adapted to their longer limbs then it could be good because they are all interesting in their own way, particularly the first 3. Roman had a nice 4S in there... i think. Tomorrow we'll find out.

I've got to give him props for improving as much as he has, even though yes, he still lacks the speed/flow compared to the others but a while back I didn't think even this much would be possible and then huh. Last group should be fun to see but overall, I think there are some really nice programs there, even in the starting group.

Well Chiddy had a so-so short practice, he fell, quite badly, on the opening jump, then sort of skated around and got the 3A in the end, skipping the combo. Also fell not so nicely on the 3A while Kevin was going so we'll see tomorrow.
