Plushenko's angel wasn't half bad. Nice strong jumps. Matteo was good.

I am not rooting for Samuilov out of principle to be honest, I just don't like strings pulling of this kind. I mean it's good the guy did well, not his fault, but I cannot help but feel bad for Egor who had a 3rd place in Brisbane and no 2nd assignment. Eeeeh.

I'm not rooting for him either - and the program was a Plushenko recipe dish, bare. But the jump quality was there. 

And that last spin was nearly a Yulia level...
