*sigh* NBC true to form never missing a chance to plug Chen.

"You won't be seeing a Nathan Chen quad in Ice Dance." No kidding. You don't say.

Hmm...Davis&Smolkin...not  as bad as I  was expectiing but them doing Tessa&Scott's music is a choice I don't think they should have made

Yeah, well, you won’t be seeing ice dance edges from Nathan Chen either.

Thankfully Peacock has the option to watch without commentary.

Hello all.   Really like W/L that was a gorgeous set.  Good luck to H/B :cheer:

H/B.... so beautiful, smooth. Loved this program.

People say the Montreal group produces teams skating the same way, or I should say, similar programs No way. They are all different and all good.

That was so different from their usual style! I loved it

God bless Jean Luc's legs.  Cos they had a lot of work there   ..... jump onto his thigh, spin on his knees to name a few!  Loved both these moves by the way.  Thought the story telling was very good in this set too.  Costume wise this dress so much better than the SP one but does not go with his shirt at all.  He needed black.

I am just so happy they got the spot! It got scary close there for a bit at nationals

Really? I’ve always thought that was one of IAM’s strengths - they have so many teams with their own distinct styles.

I really enjoy the way they use their relative heights to advantage to do unusual things like role-switching in small lifts and feature moves.

I know. I've always thought so too. I've read on other boards that some think they only do romantic or lyrical programs and they're ruining ice dance by all the teams looking the same.

To me, they've gone out of their way to make sure that the teams are unique and only similar in that they're well trained and ready to compete.

I think people get upset that becaisd there's so many teams clustered together, the club is dominant. But seriously, in a field like this  you're better off working with others who are in the same field. No one faults ballet dancers for all being from the same school.
