Maybe your sister was the 50000th applicant and they are kind of keeping a list of "standbys". Did she get a QR code on the event application details page? I don't know what the code is about because it says "applied" but doesn't say I have a pass. And k-pop stagnated? The BTS solo work alone has lead the field and so many other groups are touring and doing great.

K-pop is now established in all large music festivals all over the world, I think that's pretty global.
