Can't read it, Instagram tells me it's blocked in my country

Paik Jong-won, a businessperson and TV celebrity considered one of the most influential figures in the local food industry, on Tuesday issued a public apology and announced that he is discontinuing his TV appearance following a string of controversies.⁠

The news comes as Seoul Gangnam Police Station revealed that he is under investigation for allegations that the food and beverage company TheBorn Korea posted the imported ingredients used for its porridge as domestically sources when they were not. Paik is TheBorn Korea's founder and largest shareholder.⁠

The company is already under probe for other suspicions such as misleading consumers over the origin of ingredients in other products.⁠

Oh no! It might sound like a minor matter but this kind of thing is taken really seriously in food and agriculture. That sucks so much. Hopefully it wasn't intentional on his part. He doesn't strike me as a dishonest kind of person.

Amazing!  I'm actually a little surprised that Jin was put into situations where he could have actually gotten hurt.   He's such a good sport and, obviously, will do pretty much anything to entertain ARMY.

For Hobi's Seoul concerts: There are two pre-verification processes.  One is just for using their site and the other is prove or show that you are ARMY. You can';t even start the second part until 2pm tomorrow KST.  Heads up - I was unable on my laptop to EVER get my ARMY membership "validated" for Jin's concerts.  The link continually failed.  I now wonder if I have to go through my mobile.  If everyone can try to get that pre-verification (and that doesn't mean you are signing for a ticket, just that you might...).

Could we all try (and I know at least one of us will be joining the bloodbath for tickets....) to get that pre-qualification after the window for it opens at 2pm KST?  I'd love to hear if anyoone else encounters the problem I had.

so far I know that I will need the membership. I will make one for my sister tonight so that she can get into the presale as well. But I have so many questions:

 

would I be able to reserve the pre-sale for her? 
 

how is the verification process? Does it require a selfie with her passport next to her face or just a photo of her passport?

 

where do we sign up? I don't see a specific name of the website.

 

and did I understand correctly when they say you have to pay for reservation? Does that mean you get a ticket if you manage to get a reserved spot? And if not, will I be refunded?

Only one ticket per person allowed, per night, so your sister would have to have a separate reservation and also an account (ARMY and with the retailer) - but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to make that using her email address, etc..   It's Interpark Global.  You'll both need a valid ID, like your passport, to get in (and also have the credit card used for making the reservation) but don't need to provide a passport upfront.  They have a facial recognition thing also but I haven't tried it.  More info on https://www.globalinterpark.com/en/  Your ARMY membership name should exactly match your ID.    And I was unable to have my ARMY membership verified by them before the Jin pre-sale and even with multiple emails to their customer service AND Weverse, it never considered me ARMY.  I think it might be because I got Interpark initially on my phone and was trying on my computer.  Phone is likely going to be where to do the "buy" because that's also the preferred Weverse tool (though that makes me nuts as my phone screen in not big) and any ticket you score will be a QR code that will go to your phone.

 

A queue for ticket buying, itself, doesn't start until Monday evening KST, so you should have some days to figure out the pre-verification part -that doesn't officially happen until later tonight for me.  You can get an Interpark "membership" pre-verified at any time and they have lots of other things that they will give you deals for.

 

Hmmm - any other questions?  (if you have two email accounts, use the one that Weverse haas...)

 

No payment unless you get a seat/ticket next Monday during the pre-sale.  But you want Global Interpark to have that info ahead of time.  Go to their info page.
