LOL I have no context for this but it says Yuzu saw a ghost (or thought he saw a ghost) in his hotel room and was scared, so he asked to sleep with his staff (THIS DORK??)

personally most of his imperfections is endearing to me, but my portrait photography blood boils up when I see the photos published like. You had all the photos and you chose this one?? It really has nothing to do with Yuzu himself, just my ire as a photographer and what I perceive as not capturing the most optimal shot

I dunno, I don't think those quad arm muscles and legs are going to be nearly as appealing if they're strangling me in my bed out of fear of ghosts because Yuzu looks like he'd be a clingy sleeper LOL (seriously...........dis kid....)

The photo of the slide (what's the official name?) on the other hand........I said this for the person who took this photo of Evgenia too but like........why would you take the photo from that angle. W H Y. You've given him a double chin and failed to show off the move

Well, I think they were trying to focus on different aspects of him in that picture...like his...Ahem...facial expression

Yes I agree. I want to share with you an experience we have at Skate Canada in Mississauga 2016. You know what? We nearly got Yuzuru on our bus - which is waiting at the wrong place in the Parking lot, at the exit of the skaters from Hershey Center- to bring us back to our hotel after the Men Short program. And his short program was Let's go crazy, with his white costume, and his hair combed  with gel.

We were in the bus waiting to go back to our hotel, about 10 to 15 persons. The door of the waiting bus is still open for people who are late. Suddenly, somebody came inside the bus. He stops short at the entrance next to the driver, looks around at us, maybe he realizes then that he is not in the skaters bus. He said something like to excuse himself then gets out of the bus. 

Oh my god, his face looks so young, so pretty. He looked like a child, pure, innocent, like an angel.

Needless to say that we got an encounter to remember for a long time. He has made our day and our night too, that night.

Yous story reminds me of a special moment shared by Yuzuru and his fans when he was leaving after the GPF 2016 gala. There were people including me  waiting for him outside the rink, near the autocar entrance. When he appeared he spotted us, bowed and said something in Japanese before leaving in a taxi. This moment was brief but unforgettable. I will ever remember his angelic face against  the sunset sky...  And he was so close, you could almost touch him.

 

There were a few people filming, but my phone failed, the only thing I have is a 2 seconds video. Since then I was looking for photos/videos of this moment but it seems that nobody have ever shared them .

It's okay though, isn't it? Those kind of moments have no meaning on camera. Camera can capture performances and beauty, but it doesn't really capture the kindness aura that Yuzu emanates and that amazes everyone that gets close to him, right? 

 

But this is just my humble opinion... I just think, if I were Yuzu, I'd rather bow and say hello to fans that are looking at me in the eyes, rather than looking at me through a screen...

Much like, if I had to choose between having a 24 hour long video of his full day, from when he gets up from bed to when he goes to sleep (with Pooh plush maybe heheh), and a second of his eyes looking at me and smiling... well... Do I have to say what I'd choose?
