I read a Japanese blog that explained people's problems with that article. Apart fom taking issue with the use of the word "recycle," which, as one of our Japanese members explained, has much more negative connotations in Japanese than in English, the author also wrote that no one had reused both SP and FS music at the Olympics (or won a medal doing so - I don't remember which) which is apparently incorrect, though it could just be a careless mistake on the her part.

Actually, at the beginning I thought the same thing about Yuzu... when I watched his performances for the first time, I thought "Well, yeah, he's cute, but not so handsome after all!"

HOW WRONG WAS I...

 

(Although it took me like a couple of days to change my mind. If I'm ever going to be affected by crush-feels towards Boyang, I know they will be much more toned down, lol!)

I'm still not sure if reporting her was the best idea, it's a bit extreme IMO. But the part that makes me scratch my head in awe and wonder is how some Japanese media this cycle can be somewhat devisive even over their own men. You'd think Japan only had 1 slot, and the oly competition was just between these 2 guys...

 

Speaking of which, what is japane going to do after 2018? Who's coming up the men's ranks? Why divide your team now?

I agree. A problem in an article like that, if it bothers anyone, just needs a letter to the editor and a correction printed.

Yuzu caught me at Sochi with PW. I was immediately smacked in the face by his cuteness and his handsomeness 

And he only gets more handsome as he gets older. How unfair.
