Oh! That's interesting! I never thought of that scene in this light,  but now that you mention it, it's a perfect allegory.

I'm not sure if I'd be able to answer this question... are they talking about Prologue, GiFT, or Re_PRAY? I can't think of a word beginning with 'w' that fits the blank

It is only one of a great number of interpretations and it is but a mere example of how this scene might align with anyone having similar experiences.

 

Many people face challenges in their daily lives and have to make important decisions and sometimes there are lots of factors which mean that choices are not always obvious or perfect. People are sometimes held back or stuck doing the same thing, for a variety of reasons.

 

For any given art form and certainly Yuzu's Ice Stories are a fabulous performance art form, the art is conveyed from the creating artist to the person immersed in viewing, listening, reading, experiencing the art form. Each person interprets the work differently, in their exquisitely unique way and at different points in their life or in different moods the art speaks to each individual differently.

How wonderful that we can be part of this amazing collective experience, gain something really special, explore and discuss this with our fellow Fanyus. 

Again, this is my very humble view point and it would be a delight to find out what other people might think.

The OP provided the answer in a subsequent tweet. It's the word "widely".

I was also confused at first and thought about the names of Yuzu's shows. But this is just an English exam after all, not a Fanyu knowledge test.

This is wonderful! Now waiting to hear of a livestream, especially (I hope) for the birthday show.

Oh I am quite optimistic Yuzu will provide livestream for us again, though the question is which date will have livestream (his birthday will be the most ideal ofc, but I don't mind having December 9th, the most important thing is that the rest of us get a livestream 😅🙈)

For my part, I find that learning what someone else's interpretation of the art is, helps to enhance my own enjoyment of it. It makes me think "Ah! This work can also mean that thing, too!" and it lends more depth and dimension to my own understanding.  So I love hearing different viewpoints.

Once again the beauty of a true work of art, the meaning is personal to those experiencing the art form, it is equally valid to appreciate the artwork at face value and attach no greater meaning and at times that might be the aim of the art work. Lots of thought provoking material appears in Yuzu's Ice Stories and it really is something to enjoy contemplating when watching performances when they are available on streaming services and broadcasts and the 'YuTunes' channel.

 

If the test had been a Yuzu exam, you would have aced it

 

Yuzu has set homework for us now with his story book for Echoes, we will all be very studious before the ice stories

I saw a video of Yuzuru doing a lot of off-ice training during the ice shows. He said his best performances were during 2020 Japanese Nationals, where he had much more stamina and jumping power due to all the basic weight training he did for 1 month.

It makes me happy as a returnee fan, that he is doing so much more off ice training! I heard it really prevents on ice injuries and improves just about every aspect of skating.
