Heh, the thing is I actually like Carmina Burana and I loved Rika Hongo's program to it last season, but I kinda don't want Yuzu to skate to music that is thought to be one of ultimate warhorses. (He can totally take One-Winged Angel, though, it's basically the same but not overused. Or Omnis Lacrima.)

ETA: So somebody has accidentally guessed Yuzu's FS? Omg, what if it IS R&J or Swan Lake.

I like it too honestly, though I want the original version for maximum drama.  If Yuzu does it I am okay with it. He'll have the right expression for me to make a Omnis Lacrima montage later.  I mean seriously though, I listened to the song again and it's just made for skating. Jumps timed to the cymbals. Great spin sequence at 1:45. Epic footwork at 3:10. The program Writes. Its. Self.

 

If he did One-Winged Angel he would be trending worldwide for it. I guarantee you. Imagine it. Would he dye is hair white and slick it back? Where would the iconic angel wing be placed on the costume? We KNOW it'll be blinged up.  I'm having too much fun with this in my head.

All the FS music suggestion I remember from the GS fanfest are: Carmina Burana (Brian's idea for the 2013-2014 season), Swan Lake (I don't know why but I have the odd feeling that this have a high chance this season), One-Winged Angel and some rock music, Joe Hisashi, some ultimate warhorses. Me? I'm okay as long as it's not Bolero.

I had so much faith on him when he said Yuzu has kept the best music for the Olympic tbh...  

 

But then I will always end up liking Yuzu's program anyway, I guess any music will be fine 

Just make it up with a beautiful costume Yuzu, please? Something like Phantom 1.0 maybe??

So I just searched Carmina Burana on YouTube. I picked the shortest one and seriously the first 5 seconds sound like it is Nathan's style. No yuzu nooooo...

What's so different from that and R&J 1 though in terms of style? 

 

Also, if he did One-Winged Angel I actually like this version because it sounds best suited for skating and current compared to the vintage one (and then the more current rock one takes away the dramatic effect for me).

1. Japanese composer 

2. Cool costume possibilities 

3. Wing/feather theme

4. Dramatic, intense, fierce (serial killer face)

5. Pop culture/memeworthy is a good contrast to SP

6. And yet, still kinda classical? The oldies can handle it

As much as I love this song and the videogame, I'd rather have Yuzu keep the videogames for his otherwise enjoyment and not bring them into skating...

You'll likely get your wish, though I don't really see why classical style video game music can't be skating music. I'll swear by Omnis and the Zanarkand theme till I die, not necessarily for him but for skating in general .  I would rather see people skating to new stuff than the same recycled pieces over and over again when there is perfectly suitable material elsewhere.

Meanwhile, I dreamt he skated to something from Fatal Frame . He doesn't seem like a horror game person tho so I think you're safe also I never got out of lurking in GS so... from this at least, can't say about One-Winged Angel I lowkey support that idea, yes Yuzuru DO IT
