Yuzu's ice shows will be a whole new genre, like CiONTU. Yes there will be fun group numbers but I also don't think that we have seen the last of gorgeous, elegant, sophisticated solo programmes for Yuzu to showcase what he does best. There will be new creations featuring thrilling elements including jumps, maybe even Nessie and favourites to be revisited and perfected. As for costuming, these competition programmes won't be the last Satomi Ito designs that we see Yuzu clad in. It won't be the same as a competition, but Yuzu wants a different skating life. I think that it will be a fantastic new journey to go on with Yuzu. I'm going to try to see the shows, somehow I will manage this. Best of all we will go and see him as a group, together. I believe this I've missed out, due to family and work commitments in the past, I regret that. Of course like everyone else, hoping for just one more season, and especially as Europe is so accessible for me at least. I thought I might have a few chances to fight for tickets. I was prepared to pay for Premium, Platinum and VIP, even had hotels and Turin flight booked and bought Poohs.

I would very much like to believe that once Yuzu is producing his own shows, it will open up some options for fans who do not reside in Japan, to see him Firstly, Yuzu is aware that he has fans from all over the world and I would hope that in the same way Japanese tour operators sell packages to travel to Yuzu's comps there may be a way to organise this for shows - tickets and accommodation and transfers within Japan, own travel to Japan. He may set up his own base for shows. Secondly Yuzu may be invited to have his show travel to rinks outside of Japan. Then it will be whichever regional ticket agency that the venue is affiliated with. Thirdly, once a company is set up to organise all of the show related logistics there will at least be a box office or ticket agency for the purpose of selling tickets. Resourceful satellites will be able to secure some block bookings. Fourthly, Satellites write to organiser company to find a suitable business arrangement. Once there is a company involved in the organisational stuff it will be possible to make contact and find out how to purchase tickets if living outside of Japan This may be pure fantasy on my part, but in reality shows/events don't magically run themselves, there will be some point of contact, I'm merely being pragmatic. I'm prepared to investigate this myself in order to secure tickets somehow or other and would share info with Planet Together we can make this happen. If there are enough Yuzu shows and tours, perhaps there will be enough tickets to see him. Perhaps, maybe, hoping that because Yuzu understands that there are fans outside of Japan, there can be tickets for ice shows sold as holiday packages. Seriously, one of the best ways to boost the economy in Tohoku would be for Yuzu to have an ice arena for shows with a hotel and leisure complex attached. The financial injection from shows, tourism, merchandising, publications would give people jobs and people would visit from all over the world to skate there, see a show, join a skating masterclass and generally spend their money in the region that Yuzu loves the most. Just cancelled the hotel reservations which I'd made for the comps. My Darling Hubby had paid for the Torino hotel ( nice one as well ) as a birthday present. Seems really final now saying goodbye to competitor Yuzu Logically for Yuzu it is a happy announcement about going to do fantastic projects, which I hope we will all have the opportunity to enjoy alongside him with a great deal of delight and less of the worry. Still it is the closing of a chapter on an illustrious career and I'm irrationally choked up about that. Looking forward to Yuzu's new endeavours and new adventures.
