I am truly looking forward to see everyone's compositions for the Yuzu photo book. When Yuzu announced his decision to launch his professional skater career it was a step that he took with trepidation. Yuzu has stated this in his interviews. The press conference was held so that Yuzu could speak to all of his fans himself, express himself in his own words. This is the Yuzu that we admire, for having the courage to tell the world in person and to take this huge leap into the unknown. Yuzu said himself he does not have good idea what professional life will be like, he does not have a path to follow, because he is not taking the same route as professional skaters who have gone on to pro careers. It is quite an uncertain time for him. Yuzu has already rid himself of the monster self doubt related to Beijing Rondo and the accursed ice hole. Now it is our turn to banish the doubts about whether the fanbase is still out there, still there and wanting to give support. The photo book will be filled with messages of affirmation and affection, let's show Yuzu messages of support from all over the world. This is exactly what the Planet was born from, a shared admiration for Yuzu, his skating, the wonderful person that he is. Send your creations - simple or lavish, photos of places special to you, screen shots of where you saw an iconic programme skated and how it inspired you, messages about which were your favourite programmes or ideas for what you would like to see next, or just simply "Good Luck" . what matters most is that everyone who wants to, has the chance to take part and show Yuzu how much he means to each of us. Yuzu is often described as being the light. It is our time to be the lights and let him know how bright this future is. Yuzu and all of us, together.

Business class = 2 x 23kg hold luggage allowance because Yuzu merchandise is worth it.

If you bought everything, that would be incredible. The next challenge, how to get the merchandise home. Perhaps just go to post office and parcel post back to your home address or fill your luggage, books and magazines are heavy, so you might go over baggage allowance. That's OK, just throw all of your clothes away at the end of your trip !!!!

The little outfits for Pooh based on Yuzu costumes are adorable. If they were available to purchase, I would order the entire clothing line for Pooh. I think the Pooh model is more of a standing pose toy, maybe 30cm size Very talented and swift needle work to say the least

Thank you. VI Pooh and Mini the Pooh travelled all the way from Japan, so it is always a relief when they arrive from far away places. As for the names, they deserve respect because they are friends and relatives of Prime Minister Pooh aka Old Man Pooh san and Deputy PM Yuzu Pooh. Soohorang, journeyed from South Korea, it took me over a year to find one that was not ridiculously over priced and would ship to UK. The ones wearing the hat with the garland decorations were over £200, so had to settle for one without a hat. I keep meaning to make a hat, but never find time. Moomin troll came from his namesake shop in Covent Garden, London but he assures us that he knows Finland very well. Maybe I will need to construct a little house for them and create make believe scenes. It's fun to write their back story.

This is utterly charming. It is a fabulous tribute to Yuzu that his skating inspires people to emulate Yuzu's style of skating. It is incredibly impressive that this older gentleman skates with vigour and real flair. Really brilliant and heartening performance

It was clear that Miura was delighted to see Yuzu in person, Rondo was wonderful and "Surpriso" of Seimei was a bonus gift. Everyone was in celebration mode.

Hi Everyone This is not really fanart, but I promised to share photo of the arrival of the VIP - very important Pooh, when he came to live with me. Here we have cousin to Old Man Pooh san, his companion 'Mini the Pooh' - who also arrived with him. Soohorang - Yuzu's supporter from PyongChang and who gladly stepped in to act in OM Pooh san's stead, when said Pooh was not allowed to be present in the Olympic arena. Moomin troll - Yuzu's friend and fan from the ice lakes and mountain forests of Finland. Moomim troll is a little star struck and his daffodil wilted, because he is clutching the stem so tightly in his excitement. In years past, pre COVID Yuzu would have been practising for the first competition, Challenger series AC. There may even have been an airing of the works in progress almost complete at 'media day'. Fans would have been anticipating new programmes and costume reveal. The COVID years, Yuzu was hermit like and only attended comparatively few competitions. Newly minted pro athlete Yuzu is something of an enigma. What happens next is anyone's guess. Nessie has yet to be tamed. If there have been any choreography collaborations, they have been kept as a very closely guarded secret. If Satomi received a new costume commission, she has kept any Yuzu related work under wraps. So many mysteries to be unravelled and not even a hint at what may be afoot or when this might be announced.

Another excellent reason for Yuzu to visit Finland. All of the elements for the perfect skate are there in 'the Nature'. The scene and the skater would create an entirely magical event. Perhaps an attentive watcher might glimpse eye shine glinting from the forest. On a night filled with magic, might it be Pooh san's relatives and Moomin troll?

Rondo and Notte Stellata performed on a frozen lake under the stars is a wish for many satellites. It is a very beguiling idea. Ballet theatre scenery would be a good compromise, there are so many productions of Swan Lake, perhaps a theatre could lend some of their scenery artists to create something for Yuzu

Takahara san speaks from the heart. So glad that she told Yuzu what everyone feels, she is kind to let him know that medals do not matter and it it his quest for the 4A and even representing Japan at Beijing that are the important things. I have mentioned before, that there are many athletes from all disciplines who will never make the podium. When they become an Olympian, they give their nation representation at the World's biggest sporting event. They should be proud, win or lose, their nation is proud to see them compete. Yuzu shines in whatever he does and many Japanese people and his global fan base are really proud of him, rightly so Thanks

iirc Someone posted this a few years ago with the following caption: " Imagine if some punk a** kid breaks into your sound system, takes it over, then skates around as if he owns the rink, until he falls over " !!! Still makes me laugh and pretty much true. Rock star Yuzu - yes you, the one over there that's making the audience scream. Rink staff should consider themselves fortunate that fans only throw soft toys and bouquets and occasionally their handbags onto the ice. ( unlike fans attending Tom Jones concerts )
