I wonder if he's said anything about possibly staying one or two more seasons though? Not until the next Olympics, but maybe a few more seasons of competing. Though I read on Twitter he was planning on doing some shows coinciding with the GPS schedule next season, so maybe if he does compete it won't be for the full season anymore. Wouldn't be surprised though if he does decide to retire after this season. It seems there's a lot he wants to do esp. for FS in Spain.

For me I didn't think he would be thinking of the world record at that moment, but more of if he has enough points to win. But will need to rewatch it with a new set of ideas of what he might've meant. It's interesting that we have different interpretations of his statement lol. (Of course, I could just be projecting what my first thoughts were at that moment ^^;)
