Even with clearing the cache & turning my phone off and on?
-
In case this helps, the problem I'm having with Yuzuru News & Update is only on page 3 of the thread. If I open anything on that page I get the Aw Snap! and Reload messages as well as directions on reporting the problem. It's not affecting any other thread. Weird, right?

I'm having problems only with the Yuzuru News & Update thread. Aw Snap pops up. I've cleared the cache & have turned off/on my phone. But, the pages are slow to load and then Aw Snap keeps popping up. Thanks for your help.

Ok. I will. Thanks again!
-
That's ok. If I 'like' posts using my phone will those members using computers be able to see it? if not, I'll not do it anymore. Thanks!
-
Yes, but I could before. Was this an upgrade/change?
-
What do I need to enable so I can see who 'likes' certain posts? When I click on the heart it changes color, but doesn't show that I liked it. Thanks.

I had the same problem yesterday before it was resolved. Then today the pages were off center but are fine now.

Thank you so much! The subtitles are really appreciated. I will enjoy watching parts 1 and 2 many times.

I opened Instagram to find that 7 hours ago the ISU posted a photo of Yuzu from the GPF. The photo popped right up and shocked me! My first thoughts were: 1. "Oh no, I'm going to drop my phone!" 2. "It's about time they featured him." 3 "Why didn't I go to Instagram earlier like I do every morning? I would have seen his face sooner."
-
I panicked at first. I wondered if I was going to hyperventilate. Then, I turned my phone off/on and all was well.

Well, this really got to me. Tears just rolled down my face. It's like his mission in life is to spread joy and hope everywhere he goes.

What a highly motivating way to learn English!

Thank you. He's such a special person.

As always, thank you again. I had already watched the full interview without the English subtitles because I enjoyed his interactions with the hosts, and it was obvious he was enjoying himself. Now, I can enjoy it more because I can understand what they are saying. He was so adamant when he said, "In fact, I am not a prince type of guy." (Then what type?). "I would say a tough athlete." Good for him. But, he never answered the question from a mother on how to raise a child to be like himself. And a gentleman commented on how polite he was and how he'd like to adopt him for a grandson. I was hoping Yuzuru would divulge some insight on how he was raised to be so respectful, humble and polite. Does he ever answer those types of questions?

Thank you! It ended right when they were going to talk about costumes!!! One of my favorite things! I hope you will continue this. Where can I find Part 1 translated in English?
-
This may be top secret, but do you know: 1. Does he use the same costume designer every season? 2. Does he use the same person/people to sew his costumes every season?

Wow! Details like this just makes me respect him even more! And also hope that he wins gold again, because - just look at everyone's faces. This was his day, but he brought so much joy to everyone there. These videos had me grinning and almost tearing up because of everyone's reactions. I also am blocked from watching the last video so thanks to kaerb for the summary.

I can't thank you enough for this explanation. I was right on my assumptions for the first video but wrong on the date of it. How wonderful that Yuzu worked with Nanami Abe on this program especially after having moved to Toronto and changing coaches. In his early competitions, she has always come across as a very special person to me. In the second video, I thought the women were former teachers of his, so I was way off the mark. Their grief and hardships really got to me. When he sat on the floor with them, I was so touched by his shared grief and compassion. I caught on to the fact that they were invited to the ice show and were excited by it. I am going to look up the lyrics to Hana Ni Mara because this is the second time I've heard it. Fumiya Sashida has a beautiful voice and it was so touching to see Yuzu sing along with the music as he performed. The first time I heard it was during the New Year's Special?? I think that is what it was called when Yuzu sang along. I can think of no person in my country who is as humble and dedicated to others as Yuzu. He always makes me want to to be a better person. These videos were new to me, and I really appreciate the time you spent to put them in context for me. Thank you so much!!

These are really powerful videos - especially the second one. Could someone give me an idea of what is happening in them?

I just watched Yuzu's programs at the Autumn Classic, and the venue seems like a real friendly and inviting place. I noticed how many seats/bench spaces were empty. Will that be the same case this Olympic season, or is it expected to be packed?

I am so happy for you!!! I'm not even envious! (Ok, I am a lot.) But, yeah for you! Regarding your Visa, have you always needed to get a Special Permit to stay over 48 hours, or is this a recent change due to a new administration? (Sorry, [not] if too political, but if someone wants to start a political thread, I'll be one of the first to join. All that to say Yuzu has helped us get through the tumult. We've even stopped cable in order to avoid the craziness.)

One day in the future, he's going to find you, apologize for being ignorant and thank you for opening his eyes to the awesomeness of Yuzu. A former student came up to me Saturday at a baby shower, apologized for any misbehavior she may have exhibited in class and thanked me for assigning a project that still means a lot to her. Of course, I've also had s former student chastise me for giving him a C on a project. Poor thing. He was probably lucky to get a C.
