Welcome to the planet!! This is an interesting read that doesn't even talk about adult skaters and only distinguishes between competitive and recreational skaters: http://www.skatingaheadofthecurve.com/TimingOfSkillAcquisition.html Hmm I watch alot of adult skaters on the internet and I rarely see any good doubles that have a tight enough air position. They're usually barely landed by force. Sometimes it's hard to understand because when doubles are done right they look so easy! I think people who do gymnastics or dance, especially ballet, have better chances eg. this guy does a decent 2A in this video and he's an adult skater afaik. (I have this blurry memory of videos of him working on triples but the videos are gone and I'm startng to think I might have imagined them. that account is a bit nsfw, btw.) It just seems like there needs to be a certain body build and awareness that is attained from a young age to be able to have decent doubles, let alone triples. I wouldn't say it's absolutely impossible to land triples as an adult skater with the right genetics and body awareness and, most importanlty, the right coaching but it's extremely rare and difficult. There are no skaters with triple jumps at my FS club even though they all have been skating competitively since they were young because there are no coaches who can train these kids properly. Some of the skaters in the most advanced group only do singles, even. It's so funny because, I , the adult skater who started at 26, do dream of a 2S lol Also, we have an adult skater thread and you're welcome to post there if you skate yourself- Yuzuru News and Updates

Poor Keiji but also how the h*ll did he break new boots in such a short time?- Mock judging panel
@Xen I do see the gap between blade and the shadow now but I wouldn’t see it if i weren’t looking for it. hard. I’m often a bit confused with what steps are enough as preceeding steps. But the choctaw is pretty close to the 3Lz so that shouldn’t be a problem. Tukt’s set up isn’t too long. Thanks!- General Yuzuru Chat
It refers to several consecutive posts by a single user, with no posts by other users in between. This often occurs when a member responds to multiple quotes at once and makes a new post for each quote. So the best way to go about this is using the multiquote feature with which it is possible to quote posts across different pages and complile all responses in one post.- Mock judging panel
So I've started with Marin and I'm doing her first jumping pass, the 3F<+3T<. Just checking if I am doing it right... She has two URs so I am giving her -2 for that. And -1 for poor take off, because she picks with her edge instead of her toepick for the flip. And I can't find many bullets to give her? -She just does a round of crossovers and chasses into the jump so the two entry bullets don't apply. -No varied airposition. -Average height/distance -Could I give her the good extension on landing bullet? She doesn't really do anything difficult there but her extension is good -Flow is good so I give her that. -Doesn't feel effortless to me and she pulls her arms in really awkwardly. -It's not really musical and doesn't accentuate the music (which is more the fault of the music maybe?) so that leaves me with -3/-2 GOE. Is that about right? --------------------------------------------------- eta: Hey @Xen, I just did some steps recognizing practice with Marin's stsq and the turn after the rocker you marked as a bracket seems like a counter to me? She's on her inside edge both before and after the turn + it's counterrotated eta2: I'm currently crying over Tukt's 3Lz cuz does that preceeding choctaw qualify for the SP single jump requirements? I really don't want to deduct 3 points ;__;- Yuzuru News and Updates

I'm guilty of it, too- Mock judging panel
If you can make this work you're basically a certified hacker hahah- Mock judging panel
One way to do it would be to 1) export your judging (rename the file so you know it's your judging) 2) open it in an editor 3) look for the part of the code dedicted to the girls you already judged. You have to do it for all of them individually. Eg. start with Wakaba. The part dedicated to her starts with and ends with (it ends the same for all girls.) 4) copy it 5) open the file I sent you and find Wakaba's code again. Erase that part of the code 6) paste what you copied in 3) 7) repeat for all girls you've judged already Hope this helps haha- Mock judging panel
So I played around a bit and what happens is, a new event is added and your old judging remains in place. The only problem is you cant export it all as one event later if you score some of the girls here and some there... It's not too hard actually... eg. search for {"name":"Wakaba HIGUCHI", in each code and select everything until "elementOrder":[0,1,2,3,4,5,6]}}, and then replace one with the other. The code is a bit hard to read bc there's no line breaks but it's doable if you use ctrl+F nope- Mock judging panel
.... I think it will. We really need to plan this better next time ^^ eta: Or if you're not too shy to look into the code you can try to export your judging too and then replace only the remaining girls' code? Bc that's what I'm going to do- Mock judging panel
