There's nothing much interesting said here, just the usual... The only thing that's interesting imo is that Brain called himself the bad cop and Tracy the good cop Witt asked Brian who his fave student is and Brian was diplomatic and said that he likes them like parents like their children, all the same but differently. He did hint that in hindsight, looking back, he has faves but he needs to stay neutral LOL

I'm actually not done yet with all skaters I made a quick comparison and I think I scored most skaters similiar to how you did except Marin? I was way less generous with her but that might be bc of my mood that day or bc I am just very biased (sry) and I don't like the overall impression of her jumps so I end up feeling like she doesn't deserve most bullets. I posted how I scored her 3f3t before actually... I ended up only giving her bullet 6 with -2 because both jumps were UR and -1 for poor take off. And I wouldn't give her 7 and 8? The way she pulls her arms in makes the jumps look a bit labored to me and I actually don't see the jump being matched to the music as she doesn't land or take off matched to a musical highlight. I wasn't sure about bullet 5 actually bc her extension isn't bad... I think I rarely gave this bullet. Eg. I'd give it to Wakaba's 2A bc she high-kicks (I swear I am not biased and Yuzu's 3A from LGC is not one of my faves LOL) but what is Marin doing? While comparing I realized I changed how I score towards the end so I think I need to review my overall scores haha I might do it later today! btw @Raomina The protocols feature is great! For now here‘s youtube links: And well.. as long as you know the date of the event you should be able to look the posts up in the updates thread but it’s true that the real purpose of that thread is being able to catch up quickly while it happens. A lot of the media also ends up being taken down so it might not be helpful in a few months. Event threads having the videos in the first post makes sense

Has the person who sold them to you adjusted your blades? It’s probably not ideal but it shouldn’t be a big problem? Mine were adjusted as much as possible but it was still not enough. The guy even put pieces of leather under the blades to increase the angle but nope LOL I am hoping it will be better once I get my new skates since the blades won’t be pre-mounted Wait til you skate on your new skates for the first time! Everything will be so much easier and more effortless As for how to take care of your skates: Best to keep them as dry as possible so take them out of your gym bag when you‘re at home so the inside can dry (can get smelly) and the soakers should take care of the blades. Always wipe them with a towel after using them and before putting on soakers. You should use guards for the distance between putting them on and stepping on the ice. As for laces, I just wrap them around the ankle part of the boot but I am not sure if that’s ideal (I‘ve seen people make a ribbon out of them and put them into the boot but since my laces sometimes end up wet I don’t do that.)
