Ok guys but what if he's trying to seduce @meoima's cats so they don't eat him because of his FS costume this season
He won't be able to. My cats are all desexed.

Uh....calender indicates CNY is Feb 16th. Right on the cusp...not sure there. He'll definitely need something red for world's though, but it doesn't have to be a giant monotone red piece, maybe just a single red bead on his necklace or bracelet should work? Jade supposedly also works. But he can't buy it himself, it has to be gifted. Didn't his parents already buy him a necklace pendant that he wears all the time? So he's probably covered.
I didn't wear anything red 24/7 when I turned 24 either, and my year was fine...
Lunar New Year Eve will be on 15th Feb, so 16th will be 1st January and 17th will be 2nd January.

Not to be superstitious...in china, Yuzu would be considered someone born in the year of the dog. And 2018 is a Dog year, and the olympics would fall right around the Lunar new year time when it switches over. Usually it's believed that you should wear a lot of red in your zodiac year to ward off bad luck. I need to check, but I think the men's final is right before the switch over to the year of the dog....but after Feb 18, 2018, he could seriously consider wearing red....maybe we should give him red socks or a bracelet or something since he won't wear a red costume to skate....
so... does he need to wear something red at Olympic? Or not?? Is needed for him at Olympic?
EDIT: I have just checked. Men LP will be on Feb 17, it's new Lunar year already by that time...

A latest survey from 191 male and 118 women about famous people with best skin. Yuzuru won, of course. I hope someone can translate this. Google translate only helps me so far.

There is this girl who trains at CC: https://child-of-irony.tumblr.com/post/161593508817/somebody-just-tweeted-about-it-so-i-dont-have-to
She said this: "somebody on goldenskate already guessed Yuzu’s freeskate correctly. It’s eating me up not being able to tell them they are right, haha."
Anyone is still on Golden Skate to check all the guesses there?

I think he probably likes chocolate but in a small portion. Thus, chocolate cake is too much for him. He looks like a kind of person who has a tiny stomach for food to me.
I wish I have a tiny stomach too tbh, my stomach is so big I can eat 10 buffalo wings and chips with queso in one sitting
I like to eat a lot but my stomach doesn't allow me to eat much at one time... how age has changed me. I love eating... but I can't eat as much as I want.

Yuzuru is mentioned in this Chinese newspaper, it's an English lesson!

The elevator music here sounds, uh, rather different. So...
If anything, Zhenia's SP last season was elevator music here.

I have noticed, Yuzuru won WC 2017 and ISU is 125 years old... such a nice time to remember.
-
His singing voice sounds... horrible

Let me catch a breath first, I love Russian fans.

May I share this here:
<<<Today(3.6.2017) was the day for a trip to Shikotsu Lake,
Otaru City (Hokkaido). On the way back to Sapporo, when
the sightseeing bus was passing along Makomanai Arena,
I couldn't help saying to the bus tour guide,"Last year I came
to see a competition here." The feedback from her,"Oh,
you're talking about Yuzuru Hanyu ? He's really polite.
The driver who was in charge of assisting him to and from
the venue commented that he was deeply moved by
's courteousness
!?">>>
When even Japanese, who are famous for their manners, say they're moved by Yuzuru's manners... aww

If he brings back Seimei—it seems to me he accidentally had an Olympic moment too early, in 2015, and would be trying to recreate it in 2018 for the entire world to see. Understandable.
But I would find in that decision the cold, hard brilliance of mastery, rather than the living breath and attunement shown in programs like Requiem and H&L. It isn't organic, because 2018 is not 2015.
Perfectionism works for an Olympic athlete in a way it doesn't work in everyday life (there, in my experience, it often leads to unhappiness and paralysis, not growth). So this can work. But sometimes I prefer that things be left imperfect and incomplete (though I would never describe the earlier Chopin and Seimei that way). Apply life's lessons to new programs with a fresh perspective.
If he improves both programs, I wouldn't call it a step backwards. It really can't be, since his abilities are better now. But I will continue to struggle with the lack of vitality I read into his choice.
New programs but not a clean skate doesn't mean anything

Here is a translation of Yuzuru's interview with the Ice Jewels vol. 6:

I guess this interview was done after WTT but before FaOI? Cause it sounds like right after WTT?

Yeah, the tweet about him at Yuzuruha Shrine appeared around 3pm JST. If he did go to Seimei Shrine I think its another day, no ?
He could have gone to Seimei Shrine in the morning. But still isn't that a bit tiring for him to travel in one day. And he even had a tv crew going along.
-
Yuzuruha Shrine is in Kobe. But Seimei Shrine is in Kyoto, no? I don't think he went to both Seimei and Yuzuruha Shrine in one day.
