I feel relieved for Yuzu (despite everything), and as before, I will wish him the best for his new journey — his new flight if you will. Of course I'd like it if the external circumstances were more satisfactory to him, but it was what it was, and seeing him looking relieved in the press conference soothed my heart. It admittedly helped that he termed it "going pro" instead of...the usual phrase of retiring from competition. While I never have the chance to see him live in a competition, I take relief from the probability that I might just be able to catch him on his ice show (hopefully one of many! ). I also relish in the prospect of him exploring many things in life he now gets to do, and maybe share some of it too with us... (Like the continuation of his study, the one that was his undergraduate thesis topic, for example...). And I wish him fluency in pursuing all he wishes to pursue (fair winds, following seas...) — wouldn't it be beautiful to see him continue accomplish everything he pursues, and be fruitfully rewarded in that too... Again I reiterate — I wish him all the best in his new chapter of skating (remember, he is still skating after all!), and his new chapter in life in general. Thank you for everything, and we will lovingly support you as always, Yuzu x FF

Everyone, Nikkan Sports is known to report false news on Yuzu multiple prior to this, So WHY THE HELL ARE WE ALL TAKING THIS ONE NEWS FROM THEM AS SOMETHING TRUE??? WHAT THE HELL For all we know this could be yet another falsehood on YH spread by them? If we haven't trusted them on Yuzu before, WHY THE HECK WE START TO DO SO NOW??? I repeat... I mean, Finland is hallowed ground for Yuzu, would be lovely if he could go there for GP again (...dunno about the other GP he should go to, but Finland atm sound good to me. And I probably wouldn't mind Sheffield too much either, as long as they could provide prime ice quality for him.)

Not only I think that Yuzu will compete this season, I also think that it becomes likelier that he'll debut wholly new programs (both SP and FS) for this season... (As annoying as the PCS categories change was, this could be a slight silver lining... )

I first heard of GP Finland (remember that this is a replacement for Russian GP) on twt from Match TV, which as some ppl there already noted could be dodgy at times, hence the news being rather quiet lately. But I feel like it's more or less official now... As for the CoC replacement, ISU being ISU they need a little more time to still pick for a replacement... (after all they did in their Phuket Party... erm I mean cOnGrESs )

I think you still can throw Pooh from the judge side?? Never heard any particular prohibition to this in any competition, not even in the big ones (GP and up). Just make sure you don't hit the judges I guess?

There have been a few junior skaters from Indonesia for a little while , first time I was aware of them was when I saw a few in JGP series in 2018-19 season I think?
