What I really like about her FS music choices is that it's totally fresh music to figure skating (correct me if I'm wrong) and at the same time very beautiful, emotional and with the right story behind can win hearts. I can listen to "Dona Nobis Pacem 2" forever - so strong and so graceful . Regarding the layout, I'm relieved she plays it safe and not taking risks practicing more difficult elements. She's so young and pressure will be enormous. She already has all Russia's hope on her tiny shoulders. She has to feel confident and stay strong. And if it means staying in her safety zone I don't mind it at all.

Да они весь август договор подписывают, хотя это должно занять от силы неделю, ведь каждый год одно и то же... Надежда умирает последней конечно. Успеть бы хоть на сами прокаты билеты добыть, а тренировки я соглашусь и в записи посмотреть. )))

Если честно, то с трудом верится в открытые тренировки. Я взяла на 19е билет на самолет из тех же соображений, что чем раньше, тем дешевле. Если никогда не было открытых тренировок, то вряд ли только из-за поклонников одного фигуриста будут что-либо менять... Тем более, что сейчас они вообще там все в отпусках, а когда вернуться, им уже надо будет срочно все организовывать.

You can say "unbeatable" only after competition - not before... She said in one of her interviews last year that noone is allowed to give away medals before any competition. Life is unpredictable. She's totally aware of the fact that many people are expecting her to fall and it keeps her motivated. Every time she's asked about OG she answers that she still has to make it to the team (which is like winning Worlds again considering the battle that ladies have to face at the Russian Nationals)))

My first reactions were shock and disbelief as it really sounds like a plot to a fantasy novel. But on the other hand I don't see any harm either. It's an off-season time and they all don't have too much to lose anyways. But does it mean that they all stay in CSKA? I hope that if it turns out to be true, there will be one more experienced coach alongside Elena. PS: This off-season is crazy!
