Time for GP de France ! I was sleeping the sleep of the dead, so missed the Women's SP and will catch up later, but woke up in time for the last two pairs in the RD. First of all, a general complaint: the camera work is from a bit too far away. Yes it's great to see the ice dance patterns from a distance, but I want to see things like lifts and spins closer up. And it would be great to see the skaters in detail at the start and end of the programs. That being said, I love love both these skates. Laurence & Nikolaj pull that Top Gun theme off with panache, and Charlene & Marco were spot-on with their dance and costumes. I adore their costumes - so fun and bright, and getting the 80s vibe exactly right.

I just finished listening to the whole album, and, well, I'll be the first to say it: we (I) were fretting needlessly. Of course. Should have learned by now to trust Bangtan: this album is superb! Every single song sounds like something JK would really say in a weverse live to ARMY, or to the other members during a Festa dinner. There was nothing that made me think 'hey, JK isn't like this, this song's a bad fit' or anything like that. And his stellar vocals are all there in their full glory. I hope this album goes double platinum ASAP, it's perfect! Also, 😭 Hate You and 😭 Too Sad to Dance ... JK how dare you go rummaging around in my emotional baggage for song ideas, i mean really...😨 Also, everybody listen to Closer to You and tell me if it doesn't sound like the Pt. 2 of RM's Closer...like as JK did a guide version for RM but then took it for his own

I LOVE IT!!!! I'm sitting here in my kitchen going "omigodomigodomigod" over and over again. If this song doesn't vault JK to becoming the new 'King of Pop', nothing ever will. It hits all the right notes for a broadly-appealing monster hit, I do believe. And the excessive number of white stretch limos was a cheeky but nice touch.

Hmm. Maybe. Usually when military people refer to the weight of a set of gear, they mean everything they have on - including the helmet, rifle, boots, etc, not just the pack. Still, let's say Jin had to take just the 3 packs in addition to his own full set. The packs are probably between 5- 10kgs each. So at a minimum he was carrying 15 - 30 kgs of extra weight. Still a lot. I'd be willing to bet Jin probably joked about it being a good chance to train for the next time the guys do an acrobatic choreo on stage where they have to lift each other, though.

My experiences as a treeplanter taught me that it's always the tall skinny wiry dudes who are the strongest, with the most endurance. Not that Seokjin's quite exactly wiry - that description fits Hobi better - but he's pretty close. I am beyond impressed with this... our Jinnie is such a good leader.

Maybe completely irrelevant but the 'champagne strawberry blonde' is what my natural colour was in my teens and 20s... but it started getting darker and browner as I aged, which is why i started getting highlights done.

At the time, someone made a game or a quiz out of all the toppings they gave Yuxu to choose from, and if you played, it would give you the kind of hot chocolate Yuzu might make you. My result was more like a cake than a drink 🤣
