Thanks for sharing! It's so fun to meet ARMY in the wild. I know, it's so weird to me that anyone could have believed a word she said. Especially knowing that she was the highest paid exec in HYBE - a fact that will surely cause problems for HYBE with all their other execs later. But even weirder to me is the posts I'm reading where people are saying k-netz are taking her side and can't undetstand why i-netz don't. I mean, isn't not betraying your employer pretty much a global thing? Are we missing something in translation here? I agree. She still thinks she can do her takeover, clearly.

Her plan is probably to benefit from all the controversy generated
-
'13 years' because of course it is...
-
I think that's the same as insider trading, no?
-
two different audiences though. no way in heck is there likely to be anything on RM's album that NewJeans' target audience would even like
-
also, I pre-ordered the full set of Right Place, Wrong Person including the Weverse albums this time. I wanna get RM his million seller. He deserves it.
-
her thing with NewJeans really creeps me out. The way she talks about them is highly inappropriate for a business relationship and frankly, smacks of grooming to me. I've read a bit more about her and also: @amylance1215 !!! You're back! Good to see you back!
-
Oh yeah, she's doing a Charlie Sheen for sure
-
Because technically, HYBE doesn't run ADOR, they're a majority shareholder instead. Which means to fire her requires a meeting of the board of directors, and a vote of the major shareholders. At least, that's what I understand from what I've read.

Korean employees of HYBE spilling the MHJ/ADOR tea on Blind, which I assume is some kind of anonymous company review website: Sounds like she was hell on wheels to work for
-
-
Oh HYBE is DONE with her. Soooo done!
-
It's not the sentiment that 'it's better for me if BTS is enlisted' that's the problem, it's the fact that she consulted a shaman and asked them to put a spell on BTS to make sure they enlist. It's witchcraft, and it's wishing harm on our boys. *Sane* corporate executives don't resort to witchcraft!

Interesting! It does track with my Tae theory...

No kidding! Some of the stuff I've read makes me wonder if HYBE has suspected her for a while and just gave her enough rope to hang herself with. It's either that or they're the single most naive group of execs in history So basically, now that her plan has failed and the heat is on, she's pulling the "i'm just a girl, why's everyone so mean to me?" victim card to avoid responsibility Wow. And I thought 🛴 was bad! This story is so crazy. The only twist left to make it a full-blown k-drama is for HYBE to reveal that they sent Tae to spy on her when she produced his album and it was he who uncovered her plot... like, at this point anything is possible. Also, I wouldn't give two figs for her chances now that ARMY knows how bad her intentions towards Bangtan were
-
I just saw that and came here to post it myself... what the actual f**k!? Either this whole thing is a very elaborate hoax/k-drama, or this woman is deeply deeply crazy
-
It is a mystery.

Agree, the boy groups are way more popular than the girl ones. I'd argue that ENHYPEN is bigger than TXT, but no matter how you measure it, Tubatu, Seventeen, and Enha are the true money-makers in that line-up.
-
I wonder if that's just because things are up in the air, or if it's because MHJ was planning to waltz off with them
-
Yeah, I saw that, and if true I hope she gets what she deserves. Like for example stealing Jimin's mail so that he missed paying a bill? If that was her, she needs a sharp kick in the knees. She is supposed to be the one who leaked an underage trainee's medical information after the trainee tried out for ILLIT
-
The more I read about this case, the wilder it gets - she used the HYBE company computers to write up her plans for her takeover attempt! What kind of idiot... wow!
-
They're probably not wrong and IMO more countries should take a similar stance. It would solve so many problems: in resource extraction industries, for example.
-
I read that her actions violated anti-trust laws, so if they have proof, and I doubt they would have asked her to step down without proof, then she'll be fired anyway and face legal action. My guess is she's gambling that she has enough support on the HYBE board of directors... but apparently HYPE got an internal tip off as to her actions from one of the shareholders she approached, so she may not have the support she thinks. Plus she only controls about 20% of ADOR shares. HYBE still has the majority

Did you see the rumour circulating today that part of the reason Tae scrapped the songs he'd been working on by himself for his album because they got leaked, and that she just ever-so-conveniently happened to be available to work on the record with him at the same time? I have no idea if the story has any substance - I don't remember reading anything back at the time of his album announcement - but she's turned out to be a shady lady, so it wouldn't be surprising.

Best and most important quote from that clip: "We stuck it out, and now we're here." Words to live by
