So, satellites, now that media day has sprung, I have a problem: all I wanna do is sit and look at Zu. All day long, every day...I'm supposed to be adulting here. I mean, I have a life, and a job, and...and...all I wanna do is watch HIM! Any advice? Tips? Ways to put my life on auto-pilot so I can free up my time for more Yuzu? or am I too far gone?

He is definitely moving better than he did last year. His lines are cleaner, his moves are sharper, he's more on the music...whatever went on with the 'where will he train?' controversy, he is obviously working hard and making improvements. Good. I look forward to seeing his programs in competition.

Hmm...he did seem really into the chocolate making in the last Lotte commercial I saw ( the Valentine's one). So maybe... About costume: TBH, the outfit that Scott Moir wore for their Olympic SD might fit the bill: https://goo.gl/images/eNrMTZ but I'm feeling pure black lace, and a collared, V-neckline of cascading ruffles, with corresponding ruffles at the wrists, restrained amounts of sparkle, and probably the same black velvet pants he's been wearing forever...maybe with a rhinestone pinstripe down the side for a change of pace. (note to self: draw it). Can anyone tell me how to paste and post images? Is it copy and paste, or more involved than that.

I always absolutely hated this gold outfit on Plushy. It doesn't even fit him properly. If Yuzu decides to go this route, I hope he chooses a more flexible fabric...

When you so humble, you don't realize by how far you've surpassed your childhood idols...this boy!

More prosaically, 4A is a very big jump with high potential for disaster. It might not actually be safe to do it with so many other skaters on the ice...*shiver* sudden flashback to COC '14 so he may have avoided doing it for the cameras for that reason.

I want to draw these hands...over and over again...so beautiful!...

Oh, that's really nice. I could totally see him wearing something like that.

I just remembered this now...but wasn't there a (facetious) post in General Yuzuru Chat* a few weeks back where someone joked about Zu's new program having a hydroblade entry into a 4A which he launched into using only his arms? Be careful what you wish for.... * actually, I think it was from a Tumblr...maybe Yuzufinger? Yuzu's finger? Whatever they call it. It's a saucy, possibly offensive blog but their take on how extra Yuzu can be is very funny.

Yes please for this costume. But not sleeveless. I think it would stand out, but I don't feel like it would match the program's music and theme.

If anything, the leap looks like the ones used to drop into camel or sits spins, based in leg position. The difference is Yuzu's upper body is upright. We may indeed be looking at a new move. In summary, I think we're in for an explosion of creativity and joy from him.

Tissues? I think we're going to need smelling salts...whiskey...and maybe an ambulance on call for the truly dead... I predict swooning, lots of swooning...

My thighs are burning just thinking about it. To go from such a crouched position to a leap then hold the axis of a spin...ouch.

Please no...wait. Now that it's Legs Appreciation Spin, maybe that would be sort of okay. Like, there's a view...😉

Yuzu doing Rite of Spring? That would be awesome. But in all honesty, I hope his programs take a lighter turn after this. I'm wowed and moved by dramatic Yuzu, but I adore bouncy happy have-fun-with-the-audience Yuzu.

He looks like the most Puckish of elves here...about to get up to mischief and troll the world...

Agreed. Although I doubt that'd stop him, if he wanted to do it. Also consider that he probably can't just pop the 4A out of nowhere like he does with 3A and that he's already mentioned that the FS is a lot 'busier and harder' at 4min. Just based on potential time constraints alone, I could be convinced that the SP might be Nessie territory.

You really think it'll show up in the SP?

I know I would after spending a day in his presence.

The forum is so quiet tonight. Guess everyone is catching their breath after the whirlwind of the last 24 hours.

Well, if you think about it, both Johnny and Plushy had kind of long, mullet-y hair when they did their programs so.... ... I said it first. Yuzu mullet by the time the GPF rolls around. I mean, Jason went short so someone has to go long, right?

They both look so serious. I confess I'm not only looking forward to Yuzu's programs, but to all the TCC skaters this year. I really want to see how being there has affected Jason's skating and I can't wait to see Zhenya, she was already looking different and better during the ice shows so I suspect I'm gonna be wowed.

In one of the clips today, he specifically said these programs were meant to go back to his beginnings for a new start. Basically I took that to mean "forget the last eight years, now just watch THIS!"... instead of meaning 'hey I think I might be r-wording'.

Our boy has a good point there. No point doing it if there's room for people to diss his execution of it. And by the way, I've just officially given up on trying to keep up with this thread. twelve hours ago it was at 38 pages...now it's 56...I can't do it, I tried but the rest of my life also needs my attention...

I would love to see Yuzu do that kind of "fast feet" thing. He hasn't done anything like that since H,ILY.
