Don't forget, in every case, he's talking about future plans. "Difficult to see is the future, always in motion..." --> he has no more idea than anyone else what'll happen to him, so naturally he can't give a definite answer as to when he might r-word. He might have a hazy of idea of what it is that'll give him the idea that it's time to stop competing, but that's probably all. When you climb a mountain, often you see higher peaks to climb next. I really believe Yuzu is this kind of person, and probably won't r-word until he can see no more peaks.

Just taking everything he's said, in all the interviews and at CiONTU etc, about his attitude towards skating since his injury and Olympic victory, does anyone else feel, as I do, that it's like Yuzu is feeling reborn? Or that his skating is reborn? Something like that anyway. That's the impression I'm getting. And if that's so, I'm so glad that I'm going to have a chance to see it live.

Maybe a broadcaster has bought the rights? I can't imagine who, though, nor why they'd only livestream in Canada. Any Canadian broadcaster would gladly livestream worldwide if they could, just to drive up ad revenue.

No, don't feel bad for saying that. But maybe there's a Japanese version of a Nessie? Godzilla isn't enough of a mystery. The big appeal of Nessie is that no one knows if she's real or just a legend. Godzilla's myth is different from that. And I realize now that some else already covered that ... I'm late to the conversation today...

I really like this idea. Throwing a Nessie before he's actually landed one might be tempting fate.
