  1. Look what US ARMYs are doing to support Yoongi https://x.com/talkofthecharts/status/1827060276199616971?t=F9LqXgIDLKl2PeK4jFsq8w&s=19
  2. That made me grin with schadenfreude. It shows that someone at BigHit is playing chess while everyone else is staring at the checkers board
  3. You need to find a Monday matinee. My local cinema does 1 pm weekday shows at reduced volume for moms with babies in strollers. The babies nap while the moms watch. Definitely quiet
  4. Would some kind of earplugs help? There are some that don't block out all sound, just muffle things so the screaming wouldn't be as bad. Or maybe there's a cinema that would be less busy?
  5. It will if the Korean media, that keep stirring the pot, let it die. In particular that reporter who pushed the false info about Yoongi's personal leave seems to be a close associate of MHJ. She and whoever is backing her must have some seriously deep pockets to keep buying the cooperation of so many media outlets
  6. I've seen more than a few K-ARMY posts saying that the reason Korean media hate BTS is because BTS achieved their success by circumventing the traditional media powerbrokers, etc, there. BTS well and truly upset the K-media applecart, as it were.
  7. I also read on Twitter that Jin will be on 24 hour TV, the fundraising show that Yuzu used to do every year
  8. Yes, I know, but that's not what I meant. What I meant was, it looks like for the Aera shoot, Yuzu is dressed up in costumes that allude to or portray actual characters from various manga or anime series
  9. In regards to the fan art, it reminded me to post this: Does it look to you like some of the personas Yuzu portrayed in the Aera video are based off manga characters? I could have sworn I saw Light Yagami of Death Note in there, among others
  10. I feel like these "I trained like an idol for 100 days" shows are just a fad like all reality tv. They aren't going to give serious competition to actual K-Pop any time soon
  11. Just came by here to post this and check to see if we're still alive or did Yuzu's hotness kill us all stone dead yet. I'm about like this right now: Yuzu, seriously, if you end us all with your beauty, who're gonna buy tickets for your next solo tour? Have a little mercy🫠
  12. Every time he said "Let's so it quickly and get it over with" for each section of the trail, I feel like we were getting a deep insight into what Jin was like as a drill instructor
  13. So I just discovered that the Jin editions of Harper's Bazaar are available for preorder on Weverse - only $11.50 USD before shipping. Does anyone else ever try to use the little QR codes that come with official Weverse merch? Do they work for any of you? Every time I try one, I get a message telling me it's not available in my region. I want my 50 cents of Weverse cash, dangit!
  14. CK literally makes underwear. That makes things easy as far as brand loyalty goes. On the other hand, CK doesn't make shoes, so Jin gets the advantage there
  15. Finally watched the first episode of 'Are You Sure?'. Oh my gosh, what a pair! Jungkook mourning his rained-on fate is reminding me of a character from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books... a trucker who never saw the sun, because unbeknownst to him, he was a rain god, and all the rain clouds knew was that they loved him, cherished him, and followed him wherever he went, watering him in adoration. I'm sure JK was feeling like that guy on this trip!
  16. Eh, after reading what MHJ got up to to try and wreck Hybe I'm a lot more open to conspiracy theories of all sorts. Because there clearly really are people out there who plot that way. This part.
  17. I've seen quite a few big ARMY accounts reposting these news items as a form of Yoongi defense. The idea being that the government doesn't get to use BTS as cover-up.
  18. Even Entertainment Tonight covered it... they took the opportunity to make it into a promo video for BTS's post-military comeback after covering the news part. I think there must be an ARMY working at ET. As for my roommate, I don't know what he read or where, but he took the story seriously. I think he must have read one of the exaggerated ones... he couldn't find it back to show it to me Edit: as regards MHJ/NJ and the loss of sales... what the heck did they think would happen when they bit the hands that fed them? @barbara whoa. You are intensely lucky to have even survived that. 😯
  19. So this morning my roommate, who is the last person you'd expect to know about BTS, asked me if I'd heard about Suga's "scandal", which unfortunately means the headlines have reached the general public... argh. I feel so bad for Yoongi now
  20. @Faithyu if you keep on watching, he explains all that in detail. The important part is where he says that the police rarely bother with foot patrols in that area, but for some reason on a random Tuesday in August they just happened to be patrolling in the exact right spot to see Yoongi come home in a state, at the exact right time. Kind of makes me question the whole event, like, was it a setup?
