  1. Okay well then all of that would imply the band photo is a fake
  2. @Faithyu yes but which one is on the official site? Depths of the DMZ border post, or 15th Division military band?
  3. Gotta say I was not expecting that!
  4. If he does that, he and I will weigh the same. Twinsies! 😜
  5. He says it during their very last live before enlistment, that he's 62kgs and 'slim'. @ralucutzagyJK left us a Valentine!
  6. Kirsten Moore-Towers spoke with CBC's Devon Heroux about the ISU's decision re: not awarding Canada the bronze. They speak extremely frankly about what the ISU's decision does to the sport: Perhaps coincidentally, I noticed that the ISU had Kurt Browning host their skating awards thing, gave Brian Orser a very much deserved and long long overdue lifetime achievement award, and also gave Deanna Stellato-Dudek a special achievement award. The timing may be coincidental but it sort of looks like they're trying to shut the Canadians up about the team event decision. If true, all I can say is, why can't ISU Figure conduct themselves like a real, proper, grown-up adult organization, instead of like a corrupt high school clique? What makes them think giving Brian and Deanna their rightful due will make the team event diss go away?
  7. I found something good! Remember the Dalmajung letter set merch? That came with letters BTS wrote for ARMY? Here are the translations. Pay attention to Jimin's - it seems he was spoilering FACE but no one realized of course... or maybe this was the inspiration for FACE https://btsinterviews.wordpress.com/2022/09/21/2022-dalmajung-letters/7/
  8. Fingers crossed that stupid dynamic pricing has been made illegal by then
  9. Jimin posted on Weverse to wish ARMY a Happy Lunar New Year https://weverse.io/bts/artist/0-135136733 He says he and Jungkook are doing well, not to worry too much and they'll be back soon. And that because it's the New Year, eat lots of delicious food and nobody diet!
  10. I don't know about the others, but for me, I love to hear about them doing *well* in the military - but only if they share it themselves or through BigHit. And that's because I feel certain they're proud of their achievements and want to show us. I definitely don't need to know every detail of their enlisted time or so on.
  11. This is so nice. The designer of the feather wings for the SNTY video has high praise for Jungkook after working with him: https://twitter.com/artistejeon/status/1754644489413525764?t=t2uMN-ioF4xhOcZkf2_YGQ&s=19
  12. Jin's February message. Only 4 more months!
  13. Just gonna drop this here. Gary Beacom is a skater from the '80s who was known for being exceptionally unconventional is his approach to skating. Looks like he's still at it, and so I hope Yuzu sees this video and can feel inspired for his own innovations:
  14. True, but speaking and listening is different from reading. In any case, what you could do is take a screenshot of your translated letter, save it as a photo to your phone, then upload it as a photo attached to your fan letter in the Weverse mobile app
  15. They read English comments during the lives all the time, and respond to them. Have you forgotten?
  16. Barbara, the guys can read English.
  17. It's Hobiuary! So nice to see his smile.
  18. Having read the English version of the HYYH 'Notes', I am not exactly looking forward to this. Have a feeling it will bring the 'drama' part of K-drama, in spades, and have a lot of heart-wrenching parts.
  19. Wouldn't surprise me if Tae chose this because it makes his service time shorter Also, so far I can only find this reported by that one Tae solo account... currently looking for independent sources... Edit: found this. Don't know if this is referring to the same place as the post above, but military police is a whole different animal from regular military.
  20. I agree but maybe he did really well in training? And they have an open spot to fill?
  21. I wish they wouldn't have used the term "most evil". That's clearly a poor translation when what they mean is probably "most difficult" or "most dangerous". Come to think of it, they sent RM off into the mountains, too. My guess is these bases are really isolated, so at least there won't be any fans trying to follow them there. What an assignment. Will we even recognize him when he comes back? Stay safe, Tae.
  22. I have a lot to say about the outcome of the doping case against Valieva but I'm going to limit it to this: Someone at ISU can't do basic math. They invalidated Valieva's results and took her points away, then recalc'd the team results, putting Russia in bronze. This is incorrect. The results for each team women's event should be re-tabulated first, with every skater behind Valieva moving up a spot. That would give Maddie two more points and moved Canada to 55 points total and the bronze medal position. I'm not even going to mention the fact that the RusFed team as a whole didn't get disqualified on principle. ISU couldn't have screamed more loudly that they're still in Russia's pocket if they tried.
