I have suddenly realized that my wish was granted twice, in the form of Masquerade and LMEY. God is good! And so is Yuzu!

Going to resurrect this thread. If it wasn't for Yuzu, I never would have realized how precious and rare live performances of any kind really are.

I'm glad no one was hurt and that you're safe.

I love Shae-Lynn's interviews, she's always got something thoughtful and insightful to say, and I loved hearing how Ten to Chi to was created. Yuzu really thought deeply about this one and I hope he gets to skate it a lot.

Well, in the end, Yuzu's still cute, even in poor clothing colour choices. But I much prefer Citizen's 'young and handsome CEO' image of him.

This actually relieves my heart a bit. He's still making use of the expertise of his coaches and thinking of Toronto as a place to train. Even if he can't be there for the time being. And I'm glad he put Sendai in there too, it always has been part of his training as well. @Geo1 I agree with your sartorial commentary on the Towa CM outfit...although I am thankful that its still not as bad as the ruffly Xylitol jumpsuit.

Best figure-skating story ever written. Definitely my favorite. 12/10 would read it all over again. Edited to add: I love that we got more Yuzu crumbs, but he definitely looks best in different colors than tan and green. Blue, red, and purple Yuzu outfits are the best.

I always find it amazing how Guillaume makes Gabby look completely weightless when he picks her up. And their long, swooping, deep edges are something else. That being said, I can see things in this program that might still need work, especially the kneeling move in the middle...just looks like a stoppage instead of a planned choreo.

More like, this is what you get from Richaud? I find that it's a rare program of his that ever does the skater justice.

I like it better than the gloomy colors of her FS costume. Kaori looks amazing in jewel tones - she just glows with life in them. So I watched Kaori's FS and I kind of get why everyone's not liking it. She has so much speed and power and the program doesn't take advantage of that at all. I would love to see what Kaori could do with a Jeff Butle program. He has a way of bringing out the hidden fireworks a skater has and making them pop on the ice.

@hananistellata good point. Many more fanyus are in your position than those who get to see him live.

Oe last thing: Since it looks like things are slowly lurching towards satellites being able to go competitions again, if there's anyone who would like to receive a badge for use at PH satellite-only meetups and gatherings, please feel free to DM me.

Resurrecting this thread because it looks like satellites will finally be able to get together again and meet up at competitions!!! I still have approximately 65 badges of fiery green Seimei Yuzu and 30 or so ( I haven't counted) badges of Snow Yuzu ( also in Seimei costume) available, and I'm happy to send them out to whoever wants them. As I've noted before, these badges are meant to be used at PH satellite-only gatherings (not while among the general public) as an aide-memoire for each other's names. Just DM me, and include whether you would like a plain badge, or your name(s) added, and if you want customized sparkle added, or not. I might ask you to chip in for the cost of shipping if you live very far away, but otherwise I do not charge for these. They are a gift from me to you. Just FYI.

Yes, we can definitely trust the Chinese fanyus to make it a happy time for Yuzu and cheer him on well.

To me what matters is whether Yuzu liked his performance or not. If he's happy, then we know for sure it was good and technically perfect.
