  1. Especially if judges continue to save the higher scores for the later-skating groups, which makes a joke out of the BV+GOE system and effectively turns it back into the old, bad, reputation-based 6.0 system.
  2. Pretty sure it's still not. Someone must have snuck that
  3. 100%, and Mark also mentioned several times that Jason's kind of skating is what the fans want.
  4. In fact, if Jason and Jun are any indication, it's going the other way
  5. True but compared to last year when he had to withdraw because his boot was broken beyond repair, this is perfect.
  6. He's not going anywhere, so there's always next year. I'm delighted to see him skating so well. I want to know what Keegan's result would have been if he'd gone clean. I figure he lost about 15 - 20 points.
  7. I have many thoughts about the last 3 skaters and their scores, But I'm very satisfied with what Shoma did here
  8. Yes but why not give him 200, judges? 😡
  9. Such a yummy Juna Bauer! Ilia landed that Not so much 4F or 4Lz. Touch-and- go there
  10. Ah that 1A.. bugger. I'm going to miss him! Bond hwan Cha, let's go!
  11. Oh, Kevin's going so nicely. SO nice to see him back in good form after the past two years
  12. Score: 185. I think he could have got 190 if the judges really wanted.
  13. Another incredibly perfect skate from Jason. No quads.
  14. Here's hoping Keegan remembered his phone so we get cute baby pictures! And I'm not saying this to be mean, but I think Shoma's proposed layout is a dream in Technicolor. Does he really think he's in shape for 3 quads in a row? Go Jason!
  15. Kazuki was wonderful! Not a clean skate, but a terrific showpiece
  16. I know that, and even so, I'm still astonished this time.
  17. Is everyone as livid about the ice dance judging as I am? Madison FELL and they still got a 134 and won gold! What in the name of Nebuchednazar is this garbage judging?! And I say that as someone who actually does like them as a team. But eff right the h*ll off with that kind of scoring, please, oh most esteemed fools of judges.... Are they on glue?!
  18. I think the difference is that Kaori has some interesting , rather Yuzu-like skills. For example, even though she popped the loop in the combo, she still had the presence of mind, speed, and balance going to be able to do the 3T so she didn't lose the combo completely... not sure Haein has the same qualities. This!
  19. I'm happy to see that Kaori defended her title. Also, I honestly don't think she had any serious competition at this Worlds other than Rinka and Mai. Right now Kaori is head and shoulders above the other women in international competition.
  20. Next year Worlds is in Montreal. Easy for fans to get to, and to get tickets, but my prediction is that it will be half- full.
  21. Trend? I think its for points.
  22. I watched her skate and it seemed like she had no energy at all and that her heart wasn't in it. I hope she's ok.
