The Twitter poster’s profile pic is Yulia, so I bet she knows about Yulia too. People are very encouraging about young talents, which is quite nice to see. I do wish junior skaters from non big feds can get more recognition as well. Btw Yulia's Olympic video is the most viewed skating video on YouTube.

OT but for me, Rika doesn’t have the “it” factor. Satoko doesn’t have that either. It’s a bit harder for them to become huge stars like Yuna or Mao. We’ll see.

He’s not a tool. No one lives in a vacuum. Everyone need help from others at some point. Yuzu will need help from others as well, whether from Brian, Med, or someone else.

Glad to see Misha is on his way to become a great coach. Curious to see who would be leading the coaching world 30 years from now.

The group picture already happened earlier in the season though. Need more creativity or else might as well not do it.

The entire PR for Javi during Euros was brilliant. They can try similar things for Zhenya for worlds. I suggest posting some pictures and videos traning with Yuzu and getting Yuzu to talk about Zhenya on the Olympic Channel (new Yuzu content yay), though this might be hard but not impossible if they try.

That’s a good idea actually. Maybe say something like everyone at TCC is supporting Zhenya to go to Worlds. Or maybe post a video of them together traning for worlds to fuel the teammate narrative. Then Yuzu fans will all support Zhenya instead of other skaters.

But Yuzu will probably be more loved and popular if Brian helps him more on the PR side. I think Brian’s PR is quite useful for “casual” fans - He has done wonders for Javi at least. Of course big agencies like IMG have great expertise in promoting atheletes. I don’t like how Brian used to “use” Yuzu and Yuna to promote his other skaters in front of media. But that’s his job. He’s a good businessman.

Then we’ll probably see horrible things done to Coach Eteri and Alina for no reason. Wasn’t a Russian female skater’s car burnt at one point in history? At least everyone will be safe if Liza is left home, World peace is the most important.

If what happened to Liza happens to Yuzu. I can’t even imagine how sad and angry I would be. It seems like most people who are rooting for Liza like Evegrnia more anyways, so it’s easier for people to cope with this situation at least.

I hope Alina (and Masaru) can stay safe and away from this drama. I hope Alina can try her best at worlds without regrets.

Maybe it’s us fans’ fault that Liza was not chosen. Fed and Media like drama because it can attract fans and bring them money. Now more people will watch ladies’ worlds because they want to know how Med will do. They are prepared to stage a big show for fans, where Med is the absolute star actress. Fans care a lot more about Med than Liza, so choosing Med will please fans.

I don’t think ticket sales is the biggest source of revenue. TV broadcasting rights and advertising sponsors contribute way more money. Even the worlds is in Japan, Russian stakeholders can still make money through other means besides ticket sales.
