  1. I don't think it is a stupid rule. My first-aid trainer specifically told me that unless I have enough experience or, better yet, am certified, I should stay clear of the injured person to give way to the medical staff. Chances are none of the skaters on ice on that day were permitted or had necessary experience to do that. I do, however, think that the medical staff was too slow to come and check on Yuzu. They should by now have a better medical protocol (but I doubt, since I don't think I have seen any communications on this matter. But I would be glad if I'm wrong about this. Such horrifying incidents should be handled with utmost care and timely reaction). EDIT: I forgot to add but clearing the scene to ensure safety is extremely important too, may be it's what led to the delay in response from the medical team. Even so, I wish they were faster.
  2. Precisely, so no more complaints like laziness, lack of creativity, et cetera, et cetera.
  3. This one? But, if most of the season is cancelled, skaters will be recycling their programs left and right (like in this season), so there might be fewer complaints about recycling.
  4. At least they can hold on to Sweden and the WC so I don't think cancellation of the ENTIRE season is in order anytime soon... (maybe 80% of it cos LOL)
  5. GP schedule is pretty tight so I don't know if they want to push back Let's say GP does happen as scheduled. It is likely that quarantine would still be required in some GP countries by then, so per standard, 14 days of staying still upon arrival. China and I think Japan are making this compulsory? Or maybe there can be a leeway or this to happen with the minimal number of participants, organizers and audience so the risks can be reduced, but that would mean incurring financial loss, esp. on the part of the organizers or even the athletes if they have to cover all the costs, alas what will happen in the Challengers this year. I don't know, maybe cancelling the GP series is better?
  6. I just read this using Google Translate. Can someone confirm whether this includes the GPs? https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/html/20200713/k10012513231000.html
  7. Let's say Tokyo Olys was moved to 2022 and thus replaced Beijing Olys => Winter and Summer Olympics in the same year => figure skating as a summer sport => back to the day when FS was not really a winter thing (AKA before 1920) => possibility of Hanyu Yuzuru making history following + Ulrich Salchow in 1908 + Gillis Grastrom in 1920 (Not counting 1924 and 1928 because FS was a winter sport in these 2 Games) (+ landing 4A because why not ) => GOAT xxxxxxxx times Sounds good to me EDIT: - If FS was to remain a winter sport for this Tokyo Olys, then Yuzu would make history because he would still have the opportunity to become the only skater to win 3 successive WINTER Olympics. - If FS was a summer/winter sport for this Tokyo Olys, then Yuzu would make history just for attending (and very possibly winning) because it probably would be the only time when this wacko scenario could happen. Whichever way, Hanyu Yuzuru would still go down in history as the very GOAT
  8. It's tricky, truly. Particularly if there are no GPs. Still, my guess is she would stay put and Yuzu would head to Canada at the end of this month (if that's indeed his plan, per Tracy). EDIT and UPDATE: It seems CoC is not cancelled for now. But, would it make any difference if SkAM and SC are cancelled? How likely is it for Canada to keep international comps? National comps like the sectionals have already been cancelled
  9. 71cm for the 3A with all those transitions. Insane height for jumps really is just a walk in the park for him at this point LOL
  10. Yas! That's the first thing I noticed LOL
  11. Okay, four things: 1. Thank you! It's a relief I don't have to click ISU's link 2. His English sounds so nice 3. Red UR alert! 4. He looks buffed LOL (4A??? )
  12. Thanks, it is better than nothing. But still, I really want it
  13. I'm looking for Hiwatashi's SP at the 2020 US Nationals. Does anyone know where I can find it?
  14. I read somewhere that the socks he uses to store the medals are of super high quality (and price, but of course). Also, it is apparently common for Olympians to keep their medals in socks (or so Google said ).
  15. Yas! That part is so pretty! The stones' color can be more subtle tho IMO. The boobskirt part tho is really divisive LOL. My thought when I first saw Yuzu wore it is "this child is so bold!" LOL.
  16. I only have the youtube link, but you can paste the link in any youtube to audio website, or use 4K Video Downloader to get the audio
  17. Kitchen curtains Now I can't unsee it
  18. PS: That's the thing with Yuzu IMO. So long as the costume suits the concept he has in mind, he will unapologetically go for it, masculinity or femininity or whatever be damned. And I love that trait of his.
  19. R&J 2.0 is not exactly my favorite, but it works for the concept of the FS IMO. About Dory for Boyang tho, probably (just slightly probably) LOL.
  20. Totally! But I think Nathan would be most comfortable with Ballade ver 2.0 onwards (too much sheer fabric in ver 1.0 for him LOL). As for Jason, probably? But for me R&J 1.0 is really made for that 17-year-old Yuzu. Like the grown up version is so nice but something is just not the same. I'm thinking about R&J 2.0. I mean, we have seen way too many costumes inspired by R&J 2.0, but only the original version works LOL
  21. Yes, I was referring to Vertigo, thank you (But imagine the current Keegan in the early version of Vertigo....). Change would probably work on him too LOL HYK might work on Jun (a slither of a chance but still LOL) since he has kinda the same physique and he seems to be very open to lace, bold cut, sparkles, chiffon and so on. H&L? That's definitely Yuzu
  22. It has sparkles, true, but the form works? I mean, it's basically a sparkling shirt LOL. Yuzu does have a few sparkling shirts but Parisienne Walkway is the closest one to "probably, maybe" for Keegan LOL. Speaking of which, Yuzu has that black and white T-shirt he wore with the really shiny, rubber-ish black pants on one of the ice shows. Maybe that one but with a more plain pair of pants?
  23. Parisienne Walkway may work? Probably LOL
