  1. She probably will cos as Paskud said the list will be updated once the assignments are out.
  2. Suga Shikao is going to be at FaOI this year. Oh the potential for fabulous collab with Yuzu is ahhhhhhh. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  3. Technical question: we have stories of skaters succesfully correcting their Lutz and Flip but how about prerotation?
  4. Keiji retires. So coming with SOI in Japan are three newly retired skaters: Satton, Keiji, and Alysa. All the best to them.
  5. It seems Alysa doesn't want to keep competing. I kinda not see that coming but upon thinking back, it seems obvious. Whatever they choose to do, I wish them all the best.
  6. Not gonna lie, I really like Kamila's Storm so for sure I will be bias against this one. Plus, is it time every skater and their choreographer cancel Radford?????
  7. Some positivity to brighten someone's day: Yuzu's gigantic, majestic 3A
  8. Now we can see the holy trinity at home
  9. Even if it is not inspired by Yuzu's costume, you can't help but drawing comparisons since the similarities are there, yes? Also, yes to the political part. I feel that too. But I'm going to stop here since we are off topic already LOL
  10. Basically he said Yuzu should go to Sapporo....
  11. Edit this since @SuzyQalready explained about the costume. I'm keeping what I found about the song (This is from Wikipedia so take it with a grain of salt, yes?) Ashita e was composed by Misia and Toshiaki Matsumoto sometimes between March 11 and April 1 2011 as a charity song. The earthquake left her feeling helpless and only about a week after that did she find motivation to resume touring. She decided to set up a relief campaign via the NGO Mudef, which Kagiyama is now an ambassador of. These are her own words: "Before resuming the tour, I put all my wishes together and wrote a song. I first sang this song in Hiroshima, the city of peace. Everyday, I hear about more people concerned for the future as they follow the coverage of events. I want to sing this song to lift up your spirits. Let's walk towards tomorrow together ... I wrote this song to convey this feeling." Again, if not combining with the costume (which looks similar to Requiem's), it would have been less bothersome. But, taking the whole package together? Just not a good choice because everything feels mechanical and deliberate with hardly traceable sincerity, and it shows. Distasteful sounds about right.
  12. It was. For some reasons it showed up on my TL so I thought it's new. My bad. Can you erase your response to my post?
  13. I think they are just annoyed and so their tone is snarky. Why questioning why Yuzu's fans only talk about him and not others? Another reason, you can clearly see they (and the people who liked and responded) are not fond of the other two skaters from Team Japan. There are many reasons for their very apparent disdain. If you explore a bit further you will see why. Personally I do not have much problem with people being snarky. This is not the worst tweet I have seen. With that being said, everywhere you go, you will see fans who are very intense and I totally understand if you feel uncomfortable with them, esp if you are new. Just ignore those people if they are too much for you I too can be intense, snarky and mean at times so ignore me if that makes you feel easier
  14. Same. That rawness and commitment are not something that can be taught. Very Yuzu I hope the kid will go far
  15. For all we know he probably had landed it (imperfectly) the traditional way back then, i.e. long glides and looking over shoulder. We probably will never know for sure his real progress leading up to Beijing because injuries and sickness stood in his way. But, it all matched up, if we recalled how confident he was with it prior to NHK Trophy. Yuzu and his never ending series of bad luck Anyhow, should he still desire and be healthy enough to pursue it, I strongly believe he can land it to his own standard.
  16. He really is going to ehehehe and ufufufufu his ways around FS from now on lol. But also, ehehehehe is trending lol
  17. From my own (albeit very limited) experience this is huge. VTV is Vietnam's national TV, which most often reports on FS only when Olys is around. But here, they talked about his withdrawal from the WC in France. No mentioning of the medalists or any other athletes. They got a couple of things correct: his injuries and when he got them, for instance. However, they got the success at landing the 4A wrong. I guess it has to do with the certification vs ratification thing. It really confuses many. The tone is positive, not doom and gloom tho. They highlighted that he made impressive comeback from 8th to 4th despite being injured and withdrawing from the WC is the right thing to do so he can be back stronger PS: It impresses me that a media outlet of a (mostly) tropical, small country puts in the effort to get as much correct information as they can and highlights the 4A attempt as a cause for celebration. Meanwhile, in some other corners... This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  18. It looks like Anna is about to retire?
  19. I don't think the women's podium is that unpredictable. Same with Nate and the men, barring disasters, Kaori most likely will stand on top. Silver and Bronze are anyone's games but Wakaba, both of the Korean skaters, Loena and Alysa all have good chances. Mana too if she can get it together again, and Mariah if USFS is determined. Same goes for ice dance and pairs. Yuzu can make Worlds fun but alas he prioritizes his health and rightly so. Since it is like this, I don't see the point of watching WC.
